The real reason I started this business isn’t simply because I love yoga, nourishment or seasonal living.

Over 10 years ago, I fell pregnant while completing my 200hr yoga teacher training.

At the time, I was still trying to move through life like nothing had really changed.

But my birth and postpartum experience with my first daughter changed me in ways I wasn’t prepared for.

It opened up a much deeper understanding of support, nervous system care, nourishment, healing, and what people quietly carry through big life transitions.

There were also years afterwards navigating loss, healing and slowly learning who I was becoming through it all.

Somewhere along the way, I started searching for a different way of living, supporting and caring for both myself and others.
More connection.
More meaning.
More care.
More support.

My daughter became the beginning of that shift for me 🤍

Over the years, that experience naturally led me deeper into yoga, nourishment, seasonal living, further training and deeper work supporting others through yoga, nourishment and doula care.

Nourished Feels was never created from having everything figured out.
It was created from lived experience, curiosity, deepening understanding, and a genuine belief that support and care can shape the way we move through life’s biggest transitions.

And honestly, I think that still sits at the heart of everything I offer today 🤍

I think so many of us move through life constantly rushing without even realising it sometimes.

rushing to reply.
rushing onto the next thing.
rushing through moments we barely even get to fully arrive in.

and while there are still busy days, work, motherhood, mental load and all the everyday life things 😂
i’ve been trying to create more rhythm within it all instead.

less saying yes to everything.
more space to breathe.
more nourishing food.
more movement that supports my body.
more moments outside.
more moments to slow down enough to actually feel present.

not perfectly.
not every day.
but intentionally.

because i’ve realised the more grounded i feel, the more present i’m able to be for my children, clients & the people around me too 🤍

What’s one thing helping you create more rhythm lately?

honestly, i don’t always feel like cooking either 😂

but i’ve realised nourishment doesn’t need to be complicated, perfectly planned or time consuming to still support us.

having a few simple nourishing staples to rotate through can make things feel so much easier in busy seasons.

sometimes that looks like:
homemade bliss balls
a quick soup
warming porridge with seeds and nuts
or throwing together an easy rice dish midweek.

and sometimes, the process of preparing food itself becomes part of the nourishment too.

a moment to slow down,
to reconnect,
to be present,
even just for 20 minutes.

and honestly, i think there’s something powerful about learning to tune into what your body is craving too.

some days that might be something fresh and light,
other days something warming, grounding and comforting.

food doesn’t need to be perfect to support you 🤍

agree or disagree? 😂

sometimes anxiety around birth isn’t simply fear.

sometimes it’s the feeling of stepping toward something huge without enough preparation, understanding, or awareness around what helps you feel safe and supported within it.

sometimes it’s feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information, opinions and expectations surrounding birth.

and sometimes, the journey toward pregnancy and motherhood may have already asked a lot of you emotionally before birth even arrives.

this is a big part of why i hold spaces through both pregnancy yoga and doula support.
not to “fix” fear,or
promise a perfect birth,
but to help you feel more informed, connected and grounded as you move toward birth.

inside these spaces we explore things like:
🤍 understanding your options
🤍 breath and nervous system support
🤍 labour positions and comfort measures
🤍 partner support
🤍 creating safety within the birth space
🤍 ways to feel more connected to your body and intuition

because preparation for birth isn’t only physical.
it’s emotional, mental and nervous system work too.

if this season is bringing up uncertainty, overwhelm or fear, preparation and support can gently change the way you move through this transition 🤍

if you’re preparing for birth and looking for more support, connection or preparation along the way, my pregnancy yoga classes and doula support spaces are here to support you through this season.

one of the biggest misconceptions i hear is that pregnancy yoga is simply a “gentler” version of a regular yoga class.

during pregnancy, the body is constantly changing,
physically, hormonally and emotionally,
which means the way we move and support ourselves often changes too.

inside my classes we explore:
breath awareness
mobility and strength
pelvic connection
labour-supportive positions
nervous system regulation
rest
and creating space to connect with yourself before birth 🤍

because birth preparation doesn’t suddenly begin once labour starts.

it begins in the way we breathe, move, soften, rest, connect and support ourselves throughout pregnancy.

whether you’re new to yoga or already have a strong practice, this space invites you to slow down, support your changing body and prepare for birth differently 🤍

there’s a quiet strength in being capable.

in being the one people can rely on.
the one who keeps going.
the one who says “i’m fine” before even checking in with herself first.

but being held and supported doesn’t make you weak.
it makes you human.

some seasons ask more of us than others.
they stretch us, soften us, undo us a little… and often those are the moments we need care the most, even when it feels hardest to ask for it.

support doesn’t always need to look dramatic or urgent either.

sometimes it’s simply:
slowing down enough to breathe properly again
moving your body gently
having space to exhale
receiving nourishment
or letting someone remind you that you don’t have to carry everything alone.

my doula support, seasonal nourishment, wise woman nourishment and yoga offerings are always open for anyone wanting support through the season they’re currently moving through 🤍

because postpartum recovery is about so much more than exercise.

your body has been through enormous physical, emotional and hormonal change,
and healing isn’t something that needs to be rushed.

while movement can absolutely be supportive postpartum, recovery may also look like:
rest
nourishment
walking
breath
gentle strengthening
being supported
learning to reconnect with your body slowly again

and although it’s rarely spoken about, healing and adjustment after birth,
sometimes referred to as matrescence,
can continue for years, not just weeks 🤍

this is exactly why i hold spaces like slow flow yoga, mums & bubs yoga and wise woman nourishment,
to support women gently through this transition, rather than rushing them out of it.

it’s about time i admitted this…

i never really understood why cooking felt so important to me until my grandmothers passed.

somewhere along the way, preparing food stopped feeling like just another thing to do…
and started feeling like connection.

to memory.
to lineage.
to the women before me.

now, some of my quietest moments of reflection happen while preparing nourishing meals or making tea slowly.

sometimes when i’m stirring something on the stove, chopping herbs or preparing food for the people i love…
it feels like returning to something ancient and familiar.

a remembering.

and while it’s not always slow, peaceful moments in the kitchen,
especially with family life and the reality of everyday meals,
there are still small moments where i pause and feel that connection.

because even though some people may no longer be sitting at the table as the years go by…
the memories, traditions and nourishment continue to live on in the meals we still gather around today 🤍

and maybe that’s part of why nourishment means so much to me now.

There’s a quiet thread that connects us all.

We all come from a mother,
from a lineage of women whose lives, choices, and experiences continue to live on in ways we may not always see.

And whether or not we walk that path ourselves,
there is a quiet form of mothering that exists within,
in how we care for ourselves,
and for those around us.

Now that Mother’s Day has passed, perhaps this is the part we return to…

Not the noise or expectation around the day,
but the quieter invitation underneath it all.

To soften.
To reconnect.
To notice what it feels like to be supported, held, or simply present with someone we love.

Because often it’s the smallest moments we remember most.

And perhaps that care can extend toward ourselves too -
through rest, nourishment, ritual, or simply creating a moment to pause.

The Nourishing Self-Care Packs are still available for anyone feeling called to receive something gentle this season 🤍

Each pack has been thoughtfully curated with small rituals to support grounding, reflection, and care,
including calming essential oils, tea for a moment of stillness, a crystal and affirmation intuitively chosen for you, and a soothing bath or foot soak to help you soften a little more deeply.

Rest doesn’t always feel restful straight away.

For many of us, it’s something the body learns again… slowly.

If this resonates, this is something we gently explore in my classes 🤍

If you’ve been curious but weren’t ready to commit to the full series, this is a gentle way to step into the space.

Each class is designed to support breath, strength and mobility as your body prepares for birth.

With a small group and steady guidance, there is room to move in a way that feels safe and supported.

If this feels aligned for you in the lead up to birth, I would love to welcome you.

Single class spaces now available for the remaining weeks. Limited Spaces.
