The Women's Well - Eastern Suburbs Building community and supporting the growth of women Women need that well connection where they can unite and support each other.
(1)

The Women's Well- Eastern Suburbs, a new committee of local women and Dr Marjorie O’Neill, who are all passionate about women‘s health and well-being. Our aim is to promote community and support for women in our local area with regular panel talks and opportunities to connect. It’s based on the idea that women in an African village enjoy the camaraderie of collecting water from the well together f

or their village. When philanthropists installed a water system in their village, they lamented the loss of connection that came from the daily trip to the well. The committee members are:
Eliane Blay
Alison Feletto
Emily King
Alleyne North
Susanne North
Dr Marjorie O'Neill
Leona Pemberton
Bernadette Sullivan

Celebrating International Women's Day

On International Women's Day The Women’s Well hosted a sold out event that embodied our mission of bringing women together around our well. Our keynote speakers inspired and educated us with their stories of resilience, determination and passion.

Our panelists' stories wove a common thread of adversity resilience and drive to help others. As the committee members of The Women’s Well looked on we felt a deep sense of pride and belonging within our community.

In honour of International Women's Day we echo the words - “may we be strong women, may we know strong women, and may we raise strong women”.

With special thanks given to our generous donors OzPaddle, The Journeying Women, Select Skin and Emily King HR.

And we are always incredibly grateful for our sponsors Clovelly Community Bank.
