She'd been through divorce and years of "messy family stuff". She was functioning, showing up, doing what needed doing. But she'd lost herself along the way.
"My confidence had tanked, I doubted myself constantly, and I didn't really recognise who I was anymore. I was tired of pretending I was okay when I wasn't."
She'd had talk therapy with several different psychologists, but left most sessions feeling worse than when she walked in.
We took a different approach. Rather than revisiting the story, we worked on clearing what her subconscious and body were still holding.
"It felt like finally getting to the root instead of just talking around it."
A few weeks in, something shifted: "I noticed I wasn't carrying as much heaviness. My anxiety started easing, and I wasn't constantly second-guessing myself. I felt more present, more steady, and less reactive. I started setting boundaries without guilt and began trusting my own voice again."
And where she is now: "Life doesn't feel so overwhelming anymore. Now it feels hopeful, not heavy."
If you've spent years working on yourself and something still hasn't shifted, you haven't failed. You just haven't worked where it actually lives yet.
