“You will be surprised how much time Theratrak saves you as a therapist.” ⏰

That’s what Annie Seccull, Director & OT at Thrive Group @100062965552755, shared after integrating Theratrak into her clinic. And it’s not just about saving time - it’s about what that time allows. 📲

At Thrive Group, this translated into real outcomes: 👀

✅ Supporting families on long waitlists with structured programs
✅ Increasing engagement at home between sessions
✅ Giving therapists more time back in their day
✅ Improving job satisfaction across the clinical team

In regional areas like Shepparton VIC, where access to therapy can be limited, Annie and her team used Theratrak to deliver a 10-week home program for families waiting for support - and the results spoke for themselves. 👀

🚀 Families felt more supported.
🚀 Therapists spent less time on admin.
🚀 And more therapy happened where it matters most - at home.

This research project demonstrated exactly what Theratrak was built for - not to replace therapy but to extend the reach outside of sessions. 💫

Imagine if reports wrote themselves… 👀

The week after a long weekend can often be a toughie!

Sometimes, you take a break… your admin doesn’t. Sometimes, you come back… and the reporting list is somehow longer. 🙈

“Just a quick report…” which turns into the rest of your afternoon. 😅

This is exactly why we’ve been working on our latest Theratrak Progress Reporting update. 📊

Instead of starting from scratch every time, Theratrak helps therapists:
✔️ Link therapy activities directly to SMART goals
✔️ Track progress as it happens (not weeks later)
✔️ Generate reports that reflect real-world outcomes

So when it’s time to create reports, you’re not digging through notes, emails, and memory trying to piece everything together. 💫

Our latest Progress Report update saves therapists time - which saves clinics money. ⭐

After working alongside hundreds of allied health clinics, we keep seeing the same thing happen - once Theratrak becomes part of the day-to-day, teams start using it for far more than they expected. 🚀

Most clinics start with prescribing home programs in minutes using Theratrak. ⏳

The clinics that get the most value out of the platform use it for (almost) everything in between. 👀

Here are 7 real ways clinics are using Theratrak right now:

✅ 1. Sending home programs that actually get done
Clear activities, progress tracking, and reminders that keep therapy going after the session ends.

✅ 2. Building programs in minutes with 600+ pre-loaded activities
No more starting from scratch when you just need something that works.

✅ 3. Reusing notes instead of rewriting everything
Less double-handling. Less copying and pasting. Less late-night admin.

✅ 4. Supporting families while they’re stuck on waitlists
Give participants something to work on now instead of losing months between sessions.

✅ 5. Keeping therapy consistent when sessions are weeks apart
Perfect for regional, remote, or busy families who can’t always come in every week.

✅ 6. Sending reminders without chasing people
No more sticky notes, follow-up texts, or “did you get my email?” conversations.

✅ 7. Keeping parents, teachers, and clinicians on the same page
Share progress, feedback, and updates without ten different messages going back and forth.

As all therapists know, the real work in therapy doesn’t just happen in the session - it happens in the practice, the follow-up, the reminders, and the progress you can actually see. 🎯

“Maybe it’s not burnout… Maybe it’s the need for more support.” - Laura Simmons 💭

We hear the word burnout a lot in allied health. But what if it’s not just about resilience… 🧠

What if it’s about the systems we’re working within? 📲

Because right now, the reality is tough for our dedicated therapists! One study found almost 50% of allied health professionals & disability support workers feel burned out at least half the time. 📊

That’s not a people problem. That’s a system problem. 🎯

Because you can’t be a support system… if your own system is running on empty. 🚀

Theratrak Founder & OT Laura Simmons dives deeper into this in our latest podcast episode with Beki Eakins' podcast sharing: 👀
🔥 Why burnout isn’t always what it seems
🔥 How to create impact without burning out
🔥 What happens when therapy actually carries over into real life
🔥 Why better systems (not more effort) change everything

Writing progress reports shouldn’t feel like starting from scratch every time! We’ve created a better way to do reporting. 🎯

Between session notes, goal updates, NDIS / National Disability Insurance Agency reports, school reports, and parent updates… it’s easy for therapists to feel like you’re writing the same information over and over again. 👀

Make sure you check out Theratrak’s Progress Reporting Tool - to make it easier to show all the work you and your participants are already doing! 🚀

With Theratrak you can now:

✔️ Link therapy activities directly to SMART goals - so progress is tracked as you go, not rebuilt later.

✔️ Track participant progress over time - see trends, growth, and engagement without digging through old notes.

✔️ Generate outcome reports that reflect real-world change - not just what happened in the session but what’s actually improving.

For clinics supporting NDIS participants, this means:
📊 Less rewriting
📊 Less chasing information
📊 Less report stress before reviews
📊 And more confidence showing the progress you know is happening.

Session done! Notes waiting! One more program to send! One more report to finish! 😅

Admin has a funny way of growing without anyone noticing - a few minutes here, a quick note there… until half the week feels like paperwork. 📝

🎯 How much of your day is therapy, and how much is everything around it? 🎯

We created the Theratrak Clinic Quiz to help answer this question! ❓

In just 4 short questions, you can estimate how many hours your clinic could save each week by streamlining home programs, documentation, and communication. 🚀

We’ve had clinics complete the quiz and discover they could save: 👀
⏳ 2 hours per week…
⏳ 20 hours per week…
⏳ 50 hours per week…
⏳ and even more!

Less admin means: 👀
✔️ Fewer late-night notes
✔️ Less chasing paperwork
✔️ Smoother workflows
✔️ More time actually spent doing therapy

Theratrak was built to reduce admin, not add to it. The quiz is just the easiest place to see what that could look like. 📲

Take the 2-minute Clinic Quiz and get your estimate. 🔗

Because therapy takes skill - admin takes time. Let us help you get some of your time back. ⏰

💬 “Long-term change doesn’t happen during the one-hour sessions. It’s the practice done at home and the consistency that works.” - Danielle Graber, Director & Clinical Psychologist, 12 Points Psychology 💬

We talk a lot about home programs… and here’s proof that they work! 🎯

In collaboration with 12 Points Psychology, Theratrak was used to deliver psycho-education to participants waiting for therapy - helping participants stay supported, engaged, and working toward their goals between sessions. 📲

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The result? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

📊 Participants completed modules at their own pace
📲 Psychologists monitored progress remotely
💬 Participants stayed engaged while on waitlists
📉 And most importantly - mental wellbeing improved over time

✅ 100% of participants who completed the pilot program showed a reduction in psychological distress
✅ Results were statistically significant
✅ Participants reported feeling more confident and more in control

Therapy doesn’t only happen in the session. It happens in the practice, the repetition, and the support in between sessions within home programs. 💚

That’s exactly what Theratrak was built for - helping therapists extend the impact of their work beyond the clinic and support real long-term outcomes. 💫

Based in Melbourne VIC, 12 Points Psychology & Training which offers psychology services for all ages and professional training for mental health professionals. The Director Danielle is a Clinical Psychologist, Animal Assisted Therapist and Board-Approved Supervisor. Her mission in life is to make mental health accessible to all and eliminate burnout from the profession she loves. This project with Theratrak allowed Danielle and 12 Points to extend the reach of their therapy during a really busy period. 💥

All therapists know - progress doesn’t happen in one session. Progress happens in the practice, the repetition, and the small moments in between. 💚

🚀 Every time a participant tries again
🚀 Every time a skill is repeated
🚀 Every time a home activity gets done

That’s where the real change happens. 🎯

🚀 Practice makes progress
🚀 Repetition builds confidence
🚀 Consistency leads to independence

Therapy can’t stop when the session ends - and that’s why home programs matter so much. 📲

Theratrak helps therapists support long-term outcomes by making it easier to:
⭐ Keep participants engaged between sessions
⭐ Track progress over time
⭐ Celebrate small wins along the way
⭐ Give families clear, simple activities to continue at home

Therapy works best when it keeps going outside clinic hours. ✅

And all that practice? It’s worth it! Find out more about how Theratrak supports participants to practice at home on our website and sign up for our 30-day FREE trial. 🔗

“The biggest fall down when seeing a therapist is… we do a 45-minute session, and then we might not see you again for a week or more.” 💬
- Laura Simmons, Occupational Therapist & Founder of Theratrak

In time for International Women’s Day on March 8, Theratrak founder Laura Simmons was featured in ACS Information Age, sharing how she used her skills as a paediatric OT to create a health-tech startup after recognising a gap in therapy support between sessions. 🎯

Like many female founders, Laura launched Theratrak with flexibility and purpose in mind - flexibility for Laura as well as therapists using the platform. ⚡

Laura has built Theratrak into an incredibly useful digital platform that helps any therapist to turn what happens in a session into clear, engaging home programs for families. With over 600 pre-loaded activities, the magic of home programs happens with just a few clicks. 📲

Because therapy outcomes don’t just happen within a clinic setting - they happen in the moments between sessions. 💫

Did you know that almost 80% of Australia’s healthcare workforce are women? 💥

In Australia, around 300,000 allied health professionals support people and families every day (Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing) - and the majority of these dedicated clinicians are women (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare - AIHW). 🚀

With March 8 marking International Women’s Day, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women across allied health who are changing lives every day. 💜

These are the clinicians supporting children, families, and communities - often while navigating growing workloads, complex documentation, and the demands of delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. 🎯

At Theratrak, we believe these professionals deserve systems and tools that support their work - not add to their workload. 💫

Theratrak was created by female founder and paediatric Occupational Therapist Laura Simmons, who set out to help clinicians spend less time on admin and more time doing what they do best: supporting participants and their families. 💚

Thinking about starting something new yourself? Laura shared some advice for emerging women entrepreneurs in Balance the Grind:
✅ Surround yourself with mentors
✅ Find (or build) your network
✅ Focus on taking the next step

About us

Theratrak's mission

To break down the barriers that people face when accessing health care including distance, time and cost.

About the founder

Laura is a passionate paediatric occupational therapist, helping families and working with children living with range of disabilities. Laura has worked in the private health sector for over 5 years, and in this time has noticed a distinct lack of innovative technology solutions targeting the ongoing care of clients outside of direct therapy and how this is impacting the client’s overall treatment.
