☀️Did you know?

Fulvic acid can remove and transport metals from the body, specifically “metallo-proteins.” These proteins actually protect your body by storing excess metals, so they’re not just flowing freely in your blood. But you don’t want them in your body at all, and fulvic acid can help.

In fact, consuming it orally for a month and a half decreased blood levels of toxic metals like cadmium, and additionally improved the function of organs of elimination. Fulvic acid has been shown to bind well to lead, as well.

Fulvic acid can be used as a binder
Fulvic and humic acid can remove metals from your body, but they can actually form complexes that assist the metals in safely exiting your body, too. (“Elimination of Heavy Metals”).

✨ Fulvic+Humic Acid Improves Gut Health and Immune Function

The compounds found in fulvic acid help nourish the digestive tract and also boost the ability of “good bacteria” to repopulate and form a healthy “microbiome” environment. We need a strong digestive system to build immunity, help control hormone production, regulate appetite, reduce stress response and much more.

As a result of gut permeability (when particles are able to escape through the gut lining and enter the bloodstream, where they shouldn’t normally be), inflammation is triggered and autoimmune reactions can occur.

There is evidence that consuming fulvic acid can help decrease digestive disorders and other issues, including:
• SIBO symptoms (small intestine bacterial overgrowth)
• inflammatory bowel disorders
• bacterial infections (respiratory, urinary tract, etc.)
the flu and common colds

✨ Fulvic+Humic Acid Boosts Digestion and Nutrient Absorption

Acquiring enough electrolytes and other trace minerals is important for proper metabolic functions, digestive health and nutrient assimilation.

Organisms we obtain from fulvic acid can be taken in small doses and still cause fast, significant improvements in the ratio of bacteria living in the gut. This helps lower many unwanted digestive symptoms, like constipation, bloating, diarrhea and food sensitivities.

Besides providing raw nutrients, studies show that fulvic acid transports minerals and other nutrients to cells more effectively, boosts absorption rate of nutrients by making cells more permeable and fights inflammation within the digestive tract. 🤗

Anxiety, Uneasiness, Minerals, and Fulvic Humic Acid.... ✔️

Below we have the periodic table of elements.

I'd like everyone to pay attention to the red box with Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba highlighted. They are Magnesium, Calcium, Strontium, and Barium.

Elements that are in the same vertical column are called "groups" - and each one of the minerals tends to act like the others do in the same vertical column.

Magnesium and Calcium act very much alike, and have the same electric charge under normal circumstances of +2. They have the same electron valences - and share chemical similarities due to being alike in atomic structure.

Symptoms of Magnesium deficiency:

1. Muscle Twitches and Cramps
Twitches, tremors and muscle cramps are signs of magnesium deficiency. In worst case scenarios, deficiency may even cause seizures or convulsions (5Trusted Source, 6Trusted Source).

2. Mental health disorders
Mental health disorders are another possible consequence of magnesium deficiency.

These include apathy, which is characterized by mental numbness or lack of emotion. Worsened deficiency may even lead to delirium and coma. Additionally, observational studies have associated low magnesium levels with an increased risk of depression.

3. Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a disorder characterized by weak bones and an increased risk of bone fractures.
Numerous factors influence the risk of developing osteoporosis. These include:
aging
lack of exercise
poor dietary intake of vitamins D and K.
Interestingly, magnesium deficiency is also a risk factor for osteoporosis. Deficiency might weaken bones directly, but it also lowers the blood levels of calcium, the main building block of bones

4. Fatigue and muscle weakness
Fatigue, a condition characterized by physical or mental exhaustion or weakness, is another symptom of magnesium deficiency.

5. High blood pressure
Animal studies show that magnesium deficiency may increase blood pressure and promote high blood pressure, which is a strong risk factor for heart disease

6. Asthma
Magnesium deficiency is sometimes seen in people with severe asthma.
Additionally, magnesium levels tend to be lower in individuals with asthma than in people who do not have the condition.
Researchers believe a lack of magnesium may cause the buildup of calcium in the muscles lining the airways of the lungs. This causes the airways to constrict, making breathing more difficult.
Interestingly, an inhaler with magnesium sulfate is sometimes given to people with severe asthma to help relax and expand the airways. For those with life threatening symptoms, injections are the preferred method of delivery

7. Irregular heartbeat
Heart arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat, is among the most serious symptoms of magnesium deficiency.
The symptoms of arrhythmia are mild in most cases. Often, it has no symptoms at all. However, in some people, it may cause heart palpitations, which are pauses between heartbeats.

Other possible symptoms of arrhythmia include:
-lightheadedness
-shortness of breath
-chest pain
-fainting
In the most severe cases, arrhythmia may increase the risk of stroke or heart failure.
Scientists believe that an imbalance of potassium levels inside and outside of heart muscle cells may be to blame, a condition associated with magnesium deficiency

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, onto the nuts and bolts of the post here.

Since the "groups" or vertical columns of elements tend to act like each other - when you are deficient in one mineral, you will hang onto more of another from the same "group".

Why?

Because the body will hang onto the other elements in an attempt to use them as the ones it's deficient in.

The key ones to note are Mg, and Ca - and the Barium and Strontium.

Magnesium and Calcium are beneficial to the human body, Barium and Strontium however - are not.

When one starts to get adequate mineral supply of Mg and Ca, the body will then have to displace the Barium and Strontium it's hung onto to attempt to fill in the gaps for deficiency.

THIS can look a lot like "anxiety" and "heart palpitations" as the barium and strontium are dumped, and they are instead filled in with Calcium and Magnesium.

The toxic Barium and Strontium will them make it's way out of the body primarily through the kidneys and digestive tract.

This is where FHA shines with its fulvic and humic acid - these two substances act like "sponges" to chelate out the toxic minerals, while simultaneously replacing the toxic elements with beneficial ones.

This is usually a temporary side effect as the body remineralizes and dumps the toxicity, but energetically many people will feel the exchange.

Even subtle changes in the body in terms of mineral supply and homeostasis can be felt by most people, and those who are more deficient will also feel it more intensely as the body returns to a healthy state of being.

So if you've felt slight "anxiety" or "heartbeat changes" for a short moment after starting FHA , this isn't anything surprising - as heavy metals love to accumulate in fatty tissue, and the heart is one of these places. As you remineralize and dump toxicity - many times you will feel the body getting back to the state it was meant to be in.

Not everyone will experience this, as everyone toxicity load is different. Everyone's mineral supply/reserves/intake/demands are different too.

This post is only to help explain what might be happening to some people after starting to take fulvic and humic acid, so they can be made aware of the changes happening inside their bodies.

We all have a minerals deficit, and it keeps growing.. 😬

What causes this? ⬇️⬇️ Let’s touch on 3 things:

1️⃣ The very sources that we use to “fuel” our bodies, are lacking. Fruits, vegetables, and grains are grown in mineral deficient soils, making them deficient.
The depletion of minerals from soils has resulted from YEARS of over farming, not “resting” the soil, overuse of and , etc.

2️⃣ If you’ve ever given birth, you’ve lost up to 2 pounds of life giving minerals (given to your baby) that need to be replenished. That’s 2 pounds, per child!! Food alone cannot replenish what is needed.

3️⃣ Those post the latest “C v¡rus” have also reported increased symptoms of mineral deficiencies, such as: hair loss, loss of smell, taste and blood issues.

Fulvic/ Humic Acid is a POWERFUL way to replenish those minerals and refuel the body! 🙌🔥

It's no wonder so many in the and naturopathic communities are going back to the basics with minerals. 🖤🌿

🤓🧬💩WHAT ARE DETOX PATHWAYS

🦠 To put it simply, this term just describes the paths that toxins take as they move through and get purged from your body.

There are 3 primary detox organs/systems. Plus, some nicknames to help you understand each of their roles:
* Liver (converter, filter)
* Kidneys (filters)
* Lymphatic System (sewage system)

(See image)
If you follow the arrows, you’ll have a much better understanding of detox pathways and how they work.

You may notice that the lymphatic system isn’t shown on the image. Keep in mind that it stretches throughout your entire body and works as the sewer system, keeping everything clean and moving.

You’ll also notice that detoxification in the liver is divided into two phases: Phase 1 and phase 2.

🤓 Basically, most toxins enter the body as fat-soluble substances (aka they can only be broken down in fat). Before they can be eliminated, they have to first be converted into water-soluble matter (can be excreted via fluids). This is a pretty complicated process that relies heavily on certain nutrients.

1️⃣ PHASE 1 PATHWAY

Phase 1 detoxification involves a family of enzymes that alter the molecular structure of toxins. The main goal of this phase is to start neutralizing toxins and making them water soluble. In a perfect system, toxins should move through this phase onto phase 2 very quickly. However, overuse of medications, nutrient deficiencies and more can slow this process by reducing the efficiency of the enzymes.

2️⃣ PHASE 2 PATHWAY

Phase 2 takes the first phase a step further by adding molecules to the toxins to neutralize them even further, enabling them to be removed from the body via water or other fluid. Amino acids are the reigning nutrient in this phase.

If toxins get stuck in phase 2, the result is a buildup of fat-soluble toxins that can lead to migraines, infections, hormonal issues and more. That’s why it’s incredibly important to keep these pathways clear. Thanks to our chemical-heavy world, that means taking an active role in detoxing.

Then there are the actual routes by which we eliminate toxins, which are summed up in 3 categories:
* Bowel movements
* Urine
* Sweat
There are other ways like via tears and mucus, but the above 3 are the most important “elimination stations.”

🆘 SIGNS YOUR DETOX PATHWAYS ARE BLOCKED

If toxins can’t get out, they can re-circulate back through the body. This is known as “autointoxication.” I’ve even seen people use the term “retox.” Whatever you want to call it, it’s bad.

The result of congested detoxification paths can be devastating. In fact, many doctors believe autointoxication may be the culprit behind the growing chronic illnesses we see today.

Here are the symptoms that your detox pathways are malfunctioning or blocked:
* Fatigue
* Headaches
* Brain fog
* Skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema
* Nausea
* Unexplained cravings
* Anger
* And more
I know those types of symptoms are pretty vague and can be indicative of so many things (like parasite 🪱 die-off, see Guides for a post on that), but they’re also signs of a congested liver.

➡️ Speaking of vague symptoms, keep in mind that things like “fatigue” or “headaches” aren’t the problem, but a sign of a problem.

For far too long, our society has treated these symptoms as if they were the disease itself.

That’s why we have dozens of over-the-counter pain killers and energy supplements.
However, true health is achieved when you get to the root of an issue. ✅

More often than not, that root involves, at least in part, blocked detoxification pathways.

⭕️ HOW TO OPEN DETOX PATHWAYS

When detoxing (which is only ONE benefit of fulvic acid), you want to start LOW and go SLOW with dosing. For most that’s starting with foot soaks. Increase slowly to ingesting. If your body feels overwhelmed or like it’s not working with cleared detox pathways- you want to lower your dosage and support your body to have a clear path to get rid of the toxins.

➡️ Basically, you want to make sure your streams are flowing before you dump a lot of trash in them for filtering/processing. Otherwise, you’ll be stirring up toxins that your body isn’t equipped to handle and you will not feel well.

🌿Testimonial on ALS (Lou Gehrig's)

“Vicki was diagnosed with ALS over 2 years ago. She had symptoms for about a year prior.
She’s been taking the BO instructional dose morning and evening for the past few months. It’s inserted into her feeding tube and it takes about 20 minutes before she first notices the pain start going away.

She wakes up in the morning with pain from her head to her toes and BO makes it all go away. As her muscles have been atrophying, she’s lost full use of her legs, arms and hands to the point the pain may be unbearable without BO”.

💥Why might Fulvic be beneficial to improving symptoms of Motor Neuron Issues?
Because fulvic acid is able to improve how our cells use things like antioxidants and electrolytes, it’s become popular for slowing down aging, improving digestive health and protecting brain function. In fact studies, now show that fulvic acid has antioxidant, neuro-protective, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties

💥What does fulvic acid do for your body exactly?
As an active chemical compound, it works in a way that helps us absorb and use other nutrients better — such as microbiota/probiotics, phytonutrients, fatty acids and minerals. Many consider it to be the ultimate “nutrient booster,” and it helps counteract free radical damage.

💥Nutrition and Dietary Supplements in Motor Neuron Disease
Overview: The role of nutrition in motor neuron disease

Compromised nutrition leading to weight loss is a common and significant problem in the ALS patient population. Malnutrition and consequent weight loss are significant negative prognostic indices to survival 1–3. The benefit of aggressive and early nutritional therapy can profoundly influence the disease course, quality of life and survival.

💥Nutrition and Survival
The consequences of malnutrition in patients with ALS are well known. Inadequate dietary intake can exacerbate catabolism and atrophy of respiratory muscles, weaken the immune system and contribute to infection. Weight loss and below-normal body mass index (BMI) resulting from deficient energy intake among ALS patients are correlated with shortened survival.

💥Oxidative injury
Oxidative damage is thought to be a major contributing factor in the death of motor neurons 30. Oxidative injury can have both a primary role as well as a secondary role triggered by other mechanisms mentioned below. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) include superoxide, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), hydroxyl free radicals (OH) and nitric oxide (NO).
ROS readily react with lipids, proteins, and DNA to induce cellular damage 31–33. The high metabolic activity of neurons leads to considerable ROS formation in these cells 34. The high content of lipids and iron in nervous tissue may make the nervous system particularly sensitive to ROS damage 31.
Glutathione peroxidase, catalase, and superoxide dismutase (SOD) are all endogenous antioxidants that counteract ROS damage. Toxicity resulting from mutated SOD has been directly implicated in the pathophysiology in familial ALS. Further support for the ROS hypothesis comes from elevated levels of protein carbonyls and 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), both markers of oxidative damage, in the motor cortex of sporadic ALS patients 35. In addition, elevated plasma levels of 8-OHdG 36 and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) 37 have been identified in sporadic ALS patients compared to healthy controls.

💥Mitochondrial dysfunction
There is strong evidence for mitochondrial dysfunction in motor neuron disease. Morphological changes in mitochondria have been identified in SOD-1 mice and in sporadic ALS patients without SOD-1 mutations. Structural abnormalities within the electron transport chain and mutations within mitochondrial DNA have been implicated in the pathogenesis of ALS. The primary role of mitochondria in cells is energy production by oxidative phosphorylation.
Given the high metabolic demand of neurons, energy supply and utilization is critical and is reflected by the large number of neuronal mitochondria. Mitochondrial damage may be due to, or result in, increased free radical activity, increased intracellular free Ca++, defective electron transport enzymes (complexes I–IV), or coenzymes. Dysfunctional mitochondria leads to overproduction of ROS, and abnormalities in the mitochondrial transition pore may activate a caspase cascade resulting in further oxidative damage.
Mitochondrial activity and the underlying physiology may also differ in neurons from the brain and spinal cord. These differences may ultimately provide essential insights into disease heterogeneity in upper verses lower motor neuron clinical presentations.
Nutritional supplements that prevent free radical damage, stabilize mitochondrial membranes, or stimulate electron transport chain complexes such as Fulvic acid may be of value.
