Welcome Amanda ✨

NBHP are proud to welcome our new Dietitian, Amanda who starts in the clinic next week.

Amanda is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Sports Dietitian and is an ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential Dietitian with over 20 years experience in the industry.

Amanda is passionate about helping clients optimise health and performance, whilst encouraging a positive relationship with food and body image.

Some of Amanda’s core areas of practice include:
✨ Sports Nutrition (recreational & elite athletes)
✨ Child & Adolescent Nutrition
✨ Nutrition advice for Gastrointestinal disorders (IBS, IBD)
✨ Disordered eating & Eating disorders

Congratulations to Irish Dancer Liv, who became State Champion over the weekend 🤯 Liv has been attending the clinic weekly for 1:1 Strength and Conditioning sessions for the past two years and has continued to go from strength to strength!

Octavia is raising money for mental health 🧠💪🏼✨

After suffering multiple ACL injuries, NSW Basketball representative Octavia knows just how important exercise is for mental health!

Octavia is running ‘the push up challenge’ at her school to raise funds for mental health and we couldn’t be prouder of her!

At just 16 years old, Tav is constantly inspiring our team with her attitude, resilience and dedication to her rehab. We are so happy to support her with such an important cause.

Stop going to the gym and only using Machines 🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽

Machines are great, and they certainly serve a purpose. We often utilise our machines when our goal is to gain strength, particularly around an injury site and pre and post op.

Training without machines allows us to focus on movement and technique, gives us a better understanding of why you might be experiencing pain or dysfunction and allows us to correct this, rather than working around it. Teaching you to move better is our bread and butter and we are passionate about ensuring your strength training carries over to improve your everyday life, extra curricular activities & sporting endeavors.
