Charley Rose is a neurodivergent Blue Mountains local and mother who has spent the last two decades working with neurodivergent humans in dance and movement modalities and as a support worker, support cooridnator. specilist support coordinator, counsellor, advocate, specialist support coordinator and in many different roles.

Charley is a qualified dance teacher, play therapist and pilates and trauma informed yoga instructor and in 2025 will be a fully qualified and registered developmental educator allied health professional, specialist support coordinator. Charley currently offers services as an independent support coordinator. Independent support coordinators are a great support coordination solution as they are not affiliated with any specific major organisation and not guided by any KPIs or directives to translate support coordination services to further bookings within a service. At the Imaginarium we present as much information about possible service matches for you or your family member and answer all your questions to you can make informed decisions about your supports.
Charley has worked within an NDIS framework since it's inception and was a pioneer of person centred practices in many organisations prior to that. Charley is passionate about neurodivergent humans living their best lives and being supported in a neuro-affirming manner. Charley is a registered member of the ACWA and a student member of the DEIA.
All Charley's 2024 services are able to be paid via the NDIS for self managed or plan managed participants and are based in evidence based practice and the most recent research into neuro-affirming approaches and backed by neurodivergent advocacy that has taken place over the last decade. All services are provided by a neurodivergent facilitator/ educator as research shows that the best communication for neurodivergent people happens with other neurodivergent humans. All services are participant led and the participant's voice is paramount and guides what happens each week. Masking is not encouraged and participants are encouraged to interact as their authentic selves. Verbal communication is always optional and options for "no talking" sessions are available as a permanent or on the spot option for participant and their families.
Research shows that a neurodivergent individual's special interests create a great pathway for engagement and learning through facilitating intrinsic motivation so we incorporate your special interests where possible and completely involve the human accessing services in planning sessions and having a strong voice in how they want to interact with Charley.
Services offered can be covered under the NDIS for plan managed and self-manage participants with the NDIS The The NDIS registration process is currently taking place.
