Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will work with a diverse caseload of clients, helping them achieve their communication and swallowing goals. We offer an environment where you can thrive, with a $1,500 annual Professional Development budget to support your growth and stay up-to-date with the latest practices in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
* Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing needs.
* Maintain thorough client documentation, including progress notes, reports, and assessment outcomes.
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other health professionals to ensure a team-based approach to client care.
* Contribute to team meetings, case reviews, and professional development initiatives.
* Stay informed on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech pathology.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Pathologist (preferred but not essential).
* Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and team members.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
* Experience working with a paediatric caseload (desirable but not essential).
* Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time or full-time position, with flexible working hours available. Along with a $1,500 annual Professional Development budget, we provide ongoing mentoring and opportunities to support your professional growth.
The position is located in Currans Hill, Australia.
