Check out this quick yoga sequence for strong glutes. Strong and supportive glutes are important to maintain a safe and pain-free yoga practice, especially when comes to protect the lower back from overstretching.⁠

Repeat the leg lifts for 20 each side. Change side of the holding postures and stay there for at least 8 breaths. ⁠

Time to BUST SOME YOGA MYTHS

 as usual, share some amazing tips 🤓 What would we do without her? ❤️❤️🥰

There is SO much misinformation and scaremongering in this world. And so much of it is absolutely absurd yet seems to have been able to travel from mouth to mouth and somehow ingrain itself as fact.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are 4 myths that I hear SO often:
1️⃣ Your knee shouldn’t lunge past your ankle as it cannot deal with ‘the pressure’ ❌🙅🏼‍♀️
🧐 Ever walked down a flight of stairs?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ You shouldn’t invert on your period as it disrupts the natural directional blood flow ❌🙅🏼‍♀️
🧐 But downdog is okay?!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣ Your heels need to touch the mat in downdog ❌🙅🏼‍♀️
🧐 ...nope

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣ Banana back inversions are dangerous for the spine ❌🙅🏼‍♀️
🧐 Your spine isn’t a delicate flower (this point OBVIOUSLY doesn’t apply to those with spinal issues) and can cope just fine with not being arrow straight. It’s just inefficient. No biggy 🤷🏼‍♀️

All that surrounds us in life, all that is living on this earth is vibration; therefore, everything existing is made up of energy.

As humans, we are complex and are exposed to numerous environmental circumstances that affect our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. When our energy is vibrating on a lower frequency the energy is considered to be dense. This dense energy, believe it or not is the type of energy that is noticed by others without you even speaking a word!

So, raising your vibrations isn’t about constantly being happy and skipping over meadows, though it is about attuning yourself to the frequency of the earth’s elements and the frequency of the universe.

So what are signs of low vibrations?
~ Fatigue
~ Digestive issues
~ Depressed
~ Sleep disturbances
~ Low libido
~ Skin problems
~ Moody

Wow, I feel like this a lot of the time..can I change this?.. Yes!! frequencies can be raised! 🙌🏼

How can I raise vibrations?
~ Breathwork
~ Hydration with mineral dense water
~ Sunlight exposure
~ Organic diet
~ Grounding in nature or even the lawn
~ Smoke cleanse self and home
~ Detox

It is normal as a human for our vibration to go in ebb and flows, by being self-aware and body scanning yourself, you will be able to recognise when your vibrations need to be lifted.

Remember, you can’t control a lot of things in life, but it is easy to control your energy and vibrations through simple steps with the assistance of elements from the earth 🌬🌊☀️🌱
