If anyone has ever experienced depression, you know how much energy it takes to do anything and how debilitating it can be. Your legs feel stuck in quicksand, and your body feels like mush. You lose interest in things you once enjoyed, struggle to experience pleasure, and want to isolate yourself from the world. Then there's the change in eating habits and disturbed thinking patterns. How beyond draining!

The thought of getting out of bed when depressed can seem daunting. So, when someone mentions that exercise or moving your body can make all the difference when your mind and body already feel depleted, that's probably the last thing you want to hear.

We have suggested the same in other articles because I know how much it helped my debilitating depression. However, I wouldn't profess it was an overnight process; instead, I had to take it one step at a time. Therefore, we'd also like to help ease you through this process.
