A few important things to remember when trying to REHABILITATE AN INJURY:

Massage therapy is usually only a small part of the big puzzle π§©

Stretching plays an important part
β
Exercise selection is important
β
Only strengthen/shorten the areas that NEED it
β
You should be making progress from your initial appointment
β
Repeated injuries are a clear sign of a flaw within the approach itself
β
Follow up with your practitioner, therapist or coach. If you had pain for 6+ months it is very unlikely you will wrap your head around the full approach after an initial appointment
