Compare this amazing before and after of our lovely client who is 7 days PO. 🤩

Non-incisional drainage! Just manual shifting of fluid combined with passive stretching….what a difference! 👏🏼

She has also been given an number of region specific stretches and mobility exercises to do at home and is finding her range of motion is almost back to 100%. 💪🏼

We can’t wait to see how her beautiful results continue to progress!

This lovely client is coming on 4 weeks PO 🥳

Observe her DONE (her right) and NOT DONE (her left) mid session video.

We are no longer dealing with ‘free flowing’ drainable fluid by this stage so the before and afters/mid sesh shots will not show as dramatic a change as they would have in weeks 1 and 2.

Instead, her PostOpCare sessions are geared towards encouraging and enabling her body to heal with a smooth and consistent contour during the proliferation/remodelling stages of healing.

Notice how the NOT DONE side is lumpy and has an undulating contour where as - her DONE side has a smooth and even contour.

Pre treatment the tissue was hard to the touch and was catching her during movement, reducing her range of motion/functionality as well being quite painful.

Results above were achieved through massage, ultrasound, cupping and muscular release/joint mobilisation techniques as well as some passive stretching.

Another nice little mid sesh comparison shot! 🤩

Before vs After 👏🏼

Look at her sacral area and how we have managed to bring out that S curve. You can also see the definition of her waist:hip starting to come through.

Carving curves to reveal the work of some very talent surgeons 😍

Wow! 😮

I am actually shocked at how much this client of mine responds to each of our sessions 🤩

She may pretend to hate me and call my clinic a torture chamber 😂 but she looks bloody good after it!

Reaping the benefits of post op care well into her 8th month PO.

Bit of an interesting case yesterday 🕵🏻‍♀️

This client came into the clinic at 6 months post op, saying that she felt her 🍑 ‘hadn’t quite dropped.’ Especially on her right side.

Upon assessment of the tissue, we found an area of her upper right cheek to feel more dense/harder than what we’d expect of fatty tissue. Perhaps, she has a little bit of fibrosis/scar tissue deep around the incision sites giving that ‘not quite dropped’ appearance and the harder end-feel...

We also palpated some residual swelling in the lower flanks and sacral region. 💧

Our session involved manipulation of the swelling on her sacrum and flanks, deep massage to the fibrosis/scar tissue, ultrasound, cupping and RF. We also finished up with some case specific stretches and isometric holds. 🤸‍♀️

She was sent away with specific home-advice and stretch/exercise prescription. We will check in again on it early next week.

But just look at the difference in contour already after one session! 👏🏼🍑🤞🏼
