Position: Elderly Care Gardener
Location: Northern Beaches, NSW
Type: Part-time/Full-time
Responsibilities:
📌Design and maintain gardens that cater to the unique needs of seniors.
📌Plant flowers, shrubs, and plants that provide sensory experiences and tranquillity.
📌Create accessible pathways and seating areas for relaxation and enjoyment.
📌Collaborate with senior residents to understand their gardening preferences.
📌Organise gardening activities to engage seniors and foster a sense of community.
📌Foster a safe and enjoyable outdoor environment for seniors to connect with nature.
Qualifications:
✔️Passion for gardening and creating spaces that uplift the spirit.
✔️Proficiency in horticulture, plant selection, and garden design.
✔️Compassion and patience in interacting with senior residents.
✔️Ability to adapt gardening techniques to accommodate varying physical abilities.
✔️Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with seniors.
✔️Prior gardening or landscaping experience is a plus.
