I used to think that progress was all about hitting every workout, tracking every macro, and never missing a day. I believed that if I wasn’t perfect, I was failing. But over time, I’ve learned that real progress doesn’t come from a place of perfection — it comes from showing up, even when it’s hard, even when it’s messy, even when life doesn’t go according to plan.
There have been days when I’ve crushed my workouts, felt on top of the world, been the fittest person I thought I could be... But there have also been days where I’ve missed the gym, chosen rest over training, or had a few late night snacks. And you know what? That’s okay. Progress is built over months and years, not in a single day or even a week. It’s in the small, consistent steps forward, the ones that aren’t always perfect but are always full of effort.
So, if you’re feeling frustrated, if you’re doubting your progress, remember this: fitness is a journey, not a deadline. Every step you take, no matter how small, moves you closer to your goals. Trust the process, be patient with yourself, and don’t let one off day make you forget how far you’ve come. Because in the end, it’s not about perfection—it’s about persistence, resilience, and believing that you are always capable of more.
Do it for the plot, baby! 🔥
