Work, life, trauma, stress these can all overwhelm you at times. When we learn to breath correctly we can calm the nervous system, relieve anxiety, and reduce episodes of depression.

Why I say this is because this is exactly what I have experienced. 10 years ago I learnt to breathe in the Crocodiile Pose (Makarasana) and it changed my life profoundly.

From so called IBS, depression, anxiety and feeling generally like a train wreck. If this resonates please do get in touch and see how yogic breathing can help you.

Cat-Cow is a beautiful way to awaken the body in the morning. This gentle flowing movement helps mobilise the spine, improve posture, and encourage the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid through the spinal column, creating a sense of freshness and vitality. Coordinating breath with movement also stimulates the vagus nerve, helping to calm and regulate the nervous system. As the body softens and the breath deepens, tension melts away, leaving you feeling more grounded, energised, and connected for the day ahead.
In my classes you will hear me say if you only have time for 1 yoga pose in the morning, do this one.
