Lesson 2462 The new emotions!

This morning, I find myself sitting with emotions I can't quite name.

It’s not quite sadness.
Not quite grief.
But something tender and heavy all the same.

Yuki, my beautiful boy, isn’t well. We’re still figuring things out, but seeing him like this, slower, quieter, unsure, stirs something deep within me.

It’s a reminder of how deeply we love.
How much space these little beings take up in our hearts.
How vulnerable we become when something we love is hurting.

I don’t have the words yet for what I’m feeling.
And maybe I don’t need to.
Maybe it’s enough to sit with it, breathe through it, and honour what’s here.

If you’re feeling something unnamed too, something in between, it’s okay.
Let it be felt. Let it move through.

We’re not meant to always understand our emotions right away.
Sometimes we just need to let them whisper.

An unexpected vet visit took us to .

Yuki has had some weird things happening now leading to walking like a drunk old man. They think it is dosk damage in his neck.

He is back to VSOS tomorrow for an MRI. Worst case scenario is surgery.

Needless to say I am full of anxiety.

Grateful for RSPCA PET INSURANCE.

He is drugged up and asleep at home.

We have popped baby gates up as he is not allowed to walk up stairs or jump up on the furniture.

Stay tuned.

It’s Sunday afternoon.

And that familiar feeling starts creeping in.

You spent the weekend out drinking, or maybe just at home with a glass that turned into a bottle.

It felt fun at the time, but now the regret settles in.

That feeling of having “wasted” the weekend.

The knowing that you’re right back on the treadmill again tomorrow morning, 9am sharp.

And maybe this isn’t the first time.

Maybe it’s become a pattern.

The rush to escape, the lull of the bottle, the temporary pause in thinking.

Only to be replaced by Monday’s anxiety, shame, and exhaustion.

It doesn’t have to stay this way.

Hypnotherapy can help soften those internal voices, calm the nervous system, and gently begin to rewire the habits that keep you stuck.

You don’t have to wait until you hit "rock bottom".
You can begin to shift now.

What would it feel like to wake up on a Sunday morning clear-headed, well-rested, content?

To spend your weekend doing things that actually fill your cup.

To arrive at your desk on Monday not with dread, but with purpose.

To be living a life that feels aligned, steady, and fulfilling.

It’s possible. And you don’t have to do it alone.
Hypnotherapy is a gentle place to begin.

Lesson 2460 A ritual.

A client asked me yesterday "Do you have a daily regime or ritual you do?"

I answered "Apart from find some quiet for 5 minutes each day, no I don't "

Then I realised this morning that Yes I do indeed. EVERY SINGLE MORNING.

I wake up.

Sometimes jump out of bed other times slink out of bed.

Brush my teeth and jump in the shower.

When I get out of the shower I put on my:
Eostrogen Gel
Serum
neck cream
facial moisturizerbody firming cream

I then get dressed and take my supplements.

Back to the bathroom for my .co BB cream.

Now the hair begins.
Love my Airwrap (took me weeks and lots of YouTube's to learn to use it correctly.)
Dry
Round brush the back
Curls right side first, always right side first, then left side.
Tip head upside down give it a big blow out then leave it.

Back to bedroom.
Perfume of choice for the day, it differs sometimes sometimes . At this time I also say good morning to Peter Rabbit. This is me sending daily love to my Aunty Jan.

Hand cream by then my rings and a choice of crystals for the day.

Last stop bathroom to brush out my hair.

So yes I do have a ritual Every morning.

Not necessarily the same time and some days I don't need BB cream or curls, but everything else stays pretty much the same.

What is your little ritual that maybe you did not know till now you had?

Friday night frenzy used to be me, a bottle of something (wine, gin) and potato chips.

Now they are:
Me
Water
A bowl of water
Magic erasers
Scrubbing the studio floor.

Ahhh how times have changed.

I only got 1/4 done it is a BIG job.

Will do more tomorrow night.

It is very satisfying to see it clean!

I wonder if the students will notice and what 1/4 has been done?

Lesson 2459 What if it is not you?

What if the part of you that keeps repeating old patterns isn’t wrong or broken,
but just still trying to keep you safe in the only way it knows how?

This is where hypnotherapy begins, in the soft unravelling of blame, and the remembering of who you truly are underneath it all.

These beautiful baskets were handmade for Alasana by .ridgie .

Megan is a Dunghutti / Worimi woman taught to weave by family.

This is what she said in regards to crerong these baskets.

"My creations are perfectly imperfect just as we are. Thoughts, feelings, and memories are interwoven… stories and experiences of a life lived.

Creating these pieces has brought me joy as I reflected on my journey and connection to Al and Alasana. "

Blessed. ☺️

Lesson 2458 Wise words Pooh.

“Some days,” said Pooh, “I don’t quite feel like myself.

My body’s tired and my heart feels heavy, and even getting out of bed feels like a very big adventure.

But then I remember, it’s okay to be slow.
It’s okay to hurt. And it’s even okay to be a little sad sometimes.

Because being brave doesn’t always mean doing something big.
Sometimes, it just means being yourself… even when it’s hard.

Hope,” Pooh whispered, “is the little hum that keeps playing quietly when everything else feels still. And I think that’s worth listening to.”

Lesson 2457 Time is relative.

Two hours sitting in a waiting room for a blood glucose test felt like a lifetime.

It's strange how time stretches out when we’re told we have to wait.
Every minute feels longer, every sound louder, every movement slower.

And yet, the same two hours can fly by in a moment when we’re lost in laughter, in nature, in something that lights us up.

Yesterday morning reminded me of how time is felt, not measured.

And beneath the boredom and restlessness was also a quiet gratitude.

Gratitude for a medical system that supports our changing bodies.
Gratitude for answers, for care, for science.
Gratitude that I get to listen to my body, to check in, to take responsibility for my wellbeing.

It’s not always comfortable. But it’s part of caring for ourselves.

And sometimes, the medicine is in the waiting.

I had a conversation with a friend who said "I don't like getting the tests as I don't want the answers" I want the answers so that I can do something about the problems 🙏

This once again comes back to time.

If we leave things when we first feel, see, hear them they can get worse over time.

If we act when we first feel, see, hear them it may prevent long term pain.
