~ Mothering ~
Mothering is less about doing, and more about becoming a place.
A place where another soul feels safe enough to unfold.
It is presence.
The quiet hand that steadies, the eyes that say, I see you, even when no words are spoken.
It is learning to listen to what is not said, and to hold space for both tears + laughter in the same breath.
To mother is to become a mirror of the divine: patient yet fierce, gentle yet unyielding.
It is to soften while also protecting, to surrender control while tending a flame that must not go out.
Mothering asks us to heal ourselves as we guide another, to notice where our wounds ache so we do not pass them on.
It asks us to stand rooted, so the one in our care can reach for the sky.
Every act of mothering, whether to a child, a dream, a part of ourselves, or even the earth …is an act of remembering that life itself is sacred.
Mothering is love made into form, again and again.
