✨BRB, on a short break living my best life! ✨

2024 was a huge year. I got to work with so many gorgeous souls who trusted me with the weight of their worlds. I saw people do incredible things with my guidance and support.

2025, something new is coming. I have been wanting to bring this idea to life for a few years now but every time I thought it was the right time, I got those silly little voices in my head, you know the ones we all get 🙄
- Fear of failure
- Distraction
- Self- doubt
- Procrastination (this was a huge one for me)
- Excuses!
- Confidence
- Waiting for the right time and the list goes on.

Fact of the matter is:
- It won’t fail, I know there are way too many women who need this service
- I am more than Qualified to do this type of work
- I have taken extra study in this particular area
- There will be a beautiful community built on love, support, sisterhood and like minded souls who just get it (this I am excited for the most)

More to come on this later but for now, I’m going to enjoy beach days, adventure, family time, read a book or two something other than for education purposes, sleep in and afternoon nanna naps. I’ll be back in a week, refreshed and recharged!

For anything urgent please email themindfulcollective@outlook.com otherwise, let’s chat when I am back!

Stay fabulous,
Kel ✨

There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. May 2025 be the year of:
✨Let them. If you haven’t heard of this theory- google it
✨Celebrate endings for they precede new beginnings
✨Make mistakes, this means that you are learning, living, pushing yourself and changing yourself
✨Scroll less- live more
✨Choose happiness
✨Bad days are simply just that
✨Not letting the opinions of others weigh you down for another second
✨Learning the art of observing and not absorbing
✨Realising that you are yours before you are anyone else’s

May 2025 throw you new opportunities, happiness, joy and peace!

I think we are lucky to have dedicated days which shine the light on specific topics, such as mental health, ovarian and breast cancer awareness, dementia etc!
The truth is though every day we should be checking in on our mental and physical health and that of our family, friends and co-workers too!

It’s okay to not feel okay sometimes but its more important to remember that you are never alone in your struggles. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, ill health, Infertility, grief, loss or simply just feeling overwhelmed, reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness!

Let’s break the stigma around mental health and create spaces where we can be open, supportive, kind and compassionate. Check in with your friends, family and most importantly; yourself! Asking for help is the first step towards healing.

You matter, your mental health matters. Let’s look after each other ✨

Hey y’all!

I need your help 🙂
I am working on some really cool projects behind the scenes (no idea of a date to bring them to life yet but starting to get the work done)
I am looking to compile a list of things you wish you knew when you were younger / and or the best piece of advice you have been given.
Happy for you to comment below or email me at themindfulcollective@outlook.com with your responses, there can be more than one.
If you are also okay with your name being printed alongside what you share can you please let me know. (If and when this does happen, there will be some legalities to follow so may need your written consent down the track to do this 🙂)

I love hearing everyone’s perspective on this and my most favourite is the knowledge or advice that has been passed down through generations ❤️

Thanks legends!

P.s- totally off topic but how beautiful is the weather today. I hope you’ve gotten to enjoy some sunshine!

Rainy days are for Personal Development!!

To stay accredited as a Licensed Counsellor I have to continuously participate in Professional Development for various reasons:

1) Maintain Competency- The therapy field is constantly evolving, with new research, techniques and theories emerging regularly. Staying update means I am able to provide the most effective interventions and support to my clients.
2) Ethical Responsibility
3) Adaptation to new challenges
4) Enhancing skills and knowledge
AND THE LIST GOES ON!

I feel so much more confident in my work when I know the effort I’m putting in behind the scenes for my clients.

I guess it’s true when they say “you’ll never work a day in your life when you LOVE what you do”.

Big things are coming over the next 6 months and I am EXCITED for the future .

When people think of therapy they think it’s all doom and gloom, it’s tears and anger and frustration every session and the truth is yes this sometimes happens but it’s not always the case.
It’s breakthroughs, and wins, and better days, and structure, and learning new things about yourself, new belief systems and patterns, and implementing things to help you move through whatever it is that’s troubling you and the list goes on.

I love to make my sessions fun and creative, I can vouch for having to sit in a therapists room week after week and thinking to myself, “what the actual f**k am I doing here. What am I even going to learn from this.” The truth was I was learning more about me as each session went on than I ever thought possible.

I’m all for inspiring my clients to reach for the stars ✨✨ but I’m also my own muse and my own inspiration. So here I am standing out the front of one of my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE buildings in Camden and manifesting a space in this building and great things for 2025!!

It’s always onwards and upwards 🤍

Mondays are for Education and designing products ✨

I am soooooo excited to get this affirmation deck into the hands of every grieving person in the world!

Inside will be things like Prompts to help you when you don’t know how to help yourself, journal activities, breathwork exercises, kind of like therapy in a box!

This product is based around feedback from client sessions and things I wish I had in between seeking my own therapy for Grief & Loss.

This product will in no way shape or form replace Talk Therapy (that is really important in the first few months) but more so help you in between sessions on the days where you just think, “I don’t see my therapist for a week, my friends are surely sick of hearing about this now and I just don’t know what to do today”.

I strongly believe we go through tough experiences in life to be able to share this with other people and how you healed from said experience. It gives others hope!

My mind is just bursting with ideas and in the coming week I’ll also be releasing another epic way to work with me for FREE in this grief & loss space!

Not back to full capacity yet but jumped online as I did have some very exciting meetings this morning (still all via zoom as I can’t walk or drive yet for another 6-8 weeks 😬)

This weather calls for catching up on admin and this afternoon looks a little like:

✨ Emails
✨ Working on a pretty cool product
✨ Updating client intake form
✨ Some more of my course that I’m currently completing
✨ Clear out my phone
✨ Breathwork & Meditation

I am super excited to be slowly moving back into the swing of things and can’t wait to be back at full capacity ✨

Practicing self-compassion is essential for nurturing your well-being and cultivating resilience in the face of challenges. Here are some free tips to help you cultivate self-compassion.

✨ Mindful Awareness: Notice when you’re being self-critical or judgemental toward yourself. Observe your thoughts and feelings without attaching judgement to them.
✨ Kindness Towards Yourself: Offer yourself words of encouragement and support. Feeling down, phone a family member or friend. Get a massage, go and buy yourself a coffee and sit in peace and drink it. Spend some time in nature, a long walk might be just what you need!
✨ Acknowledge Common Humanity: Recognise that suffering is a natural part of the human experience. Remind yourself that you’re not alone in your struggles and that others have faced similar challenges.
✨ Validate your feelings: Allow yourself to feel your emotions fully, whether they’re positive or negative, and remind yourself that it’s okay to feel the way you do.
✨ Seek support: If the same issues keep popping up and talking to a friend or family member isn’t cutting it anymore maybe it might be time to reach out to a therapist aligned with your beliefs and values. One that can provide guidance and encouragement. Someone who can uplift you when you’ve forgotten how to do that for yourself ❤️

It’s the first day back of the working week, ease into it slightly and do something different today in your lunch break, call your mum or dad or sibling, a person you’ve been meaning to reach out to for a while. Take a walk. Eat your lunch away from the computer……

Have a wonderful day ✨✨

Let the new working week begin ❤️

This week I am working on a new product & I’m so excited to bring it to life, old school pen and paper is my way to map out anything.
It’s a process I tell ya, BUTTTTTTTT it’s going to benefit so many people & honestly I’m just here for the lives it’s going to change.

Cups of tea on high rotation today, silence in the background, fresh air coming through the office and no distractions!

Happy Monday y’all 🤍✨🤓
