Here are the tricks that Emily & Amelia Nagoski, authors of 'Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle', recommend to end the stress cycle and return to a more relaxed state:

1. Physical movement
2. Deep breathing
3. Social interaction
4. Laughter
5. Affection (hugs!)
6. Crying
7. Creative expression
