Our body is our vehicle to live in this word, by gently exploring it's limits we learn to live and move with more ease and efficiency.

This 10 week term we will be exploring the yogic energy system of the chakras.

The chakras are a useful tool for navigating the subtle energy fields. They are a mapping of human energy patterns, laid down by those who have passed this way before. Is the map the landscape? of course not? is it useful? It is for me. 🤍☺️🌟

Reframe who you think you are and how you think the world is. Science is catching up to how powerful the mind is, but I believe they are yet to catch on to the real powerhouse of the soul.

I know you don’t need me to tell you what to think or believe. You can discover that magic from the inside; That is the inner science of Yoga.

Term 3 we will take a deep dive through the Chakra system of mapping the human energy experience.

Stress has a huge cost on our body, and we often don't realize it because it's effects become normal to us. This fact represents the cost of chronic stress and unresolved emotions on our system. It literally takes a toll on our bodies and wears us out. This is what is known as allostatic load. This load increases our risk of chronic illnesses and serious diseases like cancer because our body is spending much less energy repairing our cells. The good news is this dysregulation of our energy can be reversed by de-stressing our bodies and feeling unresolved emotions to completion.

A new study reveals that short naps with deeper N2 sleep stages may promote sudden moments of insight during problem-solving.

Participants completed a task with a hidden pattern, then rested while their brain activity was monitored via EEG.

Those who entered N2 sleep were significantly more likely to discover the trick upon retesting.

The brain’s spectral slope during sleep, a marker of neural activity, was closely tied to who had breakthroughs.

These findings support the idea that even brief sleep can help unlock hidden solutions.

My Name is Shanti Meera and I share Yoga in the Camden/Macarthur District. I teach Multi Level public classes at the Mount Annan Botanic Gardens and private classes. This is not the Yoga of ‘perfection’, it is about embracing the wonder that you already are. Yoga is an ancient science of self discovery.
