It's connection with the essence of life itself. The possibilities are unlimited. Yoga is an ancient science of self discovery. Through focusing our awareness on body and breath we become more present to our moment to moment experience. The whole of existence is interconnected, everything in the universe is made up of energy vibrating at different frequencies. I n our yoga practise we learn to tune in to this deeper connection with all that is, experiencing a deep sense of inner peace. When we feel connected to life we can relax we don't need to struggle against anything. When we learn to relax and let go out energy is free for living and enjoying life. Our body is our vehicle to live in this word, by gently exploring it's limits we learn to live and move with more ease and efficiency.

Peace is not a hope or a prayer it is a practise.

If you want peace you have to choose it over being right, being popular, or being busy all the time.
It is not inaction, it is simply choosing not to be consumed my the contents of mind. Peace is not letting fear or hate take over your heart.

If you want to find peace amidst the clamour of the world you need to make space for it. Take some time to turn of the news and listen to the song of the birds.
To create a peaceful world you have to choose it despite the challenges, you have to let the breath deepen within you and let it move you from the inside.

Come practice peace with me for our pre-Christmas chill yoga in the gardens at 9am, lakeside at the beautiful Mount Annan Botanical Gardens.

Gentle mindful practice with snacks and chats after, all welcome. Event updates in stories or on the FB event page. Make some space to take a moment. 🌸✌🏼🤍

Our Story

My Name is Shanti Meera and I share Yoga in the Camden/Macarthur District. I teach Multi Level public classes at the Mount Annan Botanic Gardens and private classes. This is not the Yoga of ‘perfection’, it is about embracing the wonder that you already are. Yoga is an ancient science of self discovery.
