Here are some tips I think may be useful for anyone making the journey to Arbaeen this year. JazakAllah and may Allah swt accept all your prayers and supplications.

SCAM ALERT!! Please read carefully.

Firstly, anyone who ever goes to a Podiatrist looking to have some custom made orthotics please make sure casts, scans or moulds of your feet are taken.

Secondly, if the orthotics you receive have sizes: S,M,L etc or a generic brand on them do not purchase them as a custom made.

This patient came to me today with two pairs of these so called ‘custom orthotics’ that were sold to her by her local podiatrist. She paid for them thinking they were a custom made pair. THESE ARE NOT CUSTOM MADE. These are off the shelf/pre-made orthotics that should NOT cost the same as a custom made one.
