Childhood Dementia Initiative breakfast launch event. Events like this one remind us why our work matters. More than 120 children born each year in Australia alone are affected by one of the 70+ conditions that lead to childhood dementia. Only 5% of those 70+ conditions have available treatment options, options that are not always effective! Better treatment options are needed for those devastating conditions. Together we will make a difference!

Dr Lisowski is representing CMRI TVG and VGEF at the annual Bioprocessing Summit in Boston, MA. The field of vector gene therapy is blooming. Lots of exciting talks and training sessions dedicated to vector manufacturing, processing and clinical development. Happy Birthday to this gorgeous boy Kush, who turns 6 today! Kush was born with a rare genetic mutation on his FoxG1 gene which means he doesn’t walk or talk - but he has the most infectious smile. He and his family are also incredible supporters of Jeans for Genes. They do all they can to raise money for research and educate the public about genetic diseases. We hope you have a great day with your family Kush! 💙

Looking forward to the fun night. Perfect excuse to dress up and slow down. But we are mostly happy we will help raise money to support paediatric research.
