Some people feel better after a couple of weeks on carnivore and that’s fine. It can be used as a very short term reset for gut, autoimmune and mental health. Anything longer than one month and you are heading for disaster, male and female, doesn’t matter. Yes I know there’s people online who say it’s great. Hasn’t been my clinical experience. If you dramatically improve on carnivore, it’s simply a sign that your gut needs a lot of work.

Plantains are a really under-rated carb! They are quite cheap and when cooked well taste delicious. I usually have them as a side dish with protein, kids like them as 'chips' for a snack.
Peel and slice plantain finely. Heat oil, fry them roughly 2 mins each side or until they look cooked. Sprinkle with salt liberally. Cinnamon is also nice.

Any hormone replacement requires a full investigation into your estrogen depox pathways (via the DUTCH test) and ideally a genetic panel to understand your detox capabilities and any glitches in genes like
MTHFR, COMT and UGT (Gilbert's syndrome). It's not as straightforward as just "try it and see if you feel better", the long term consequences are unpredictable and your GP won't investigate any of this.
