We had a blast with exceptional dentist, Dr Louis Chan, when he visited us at Q Speech Hub! Our awesome Jacquie worked her functional neuro magic while Dr Chan incorporated more functional healing with acupuncture, both traditional and with laser. Let’s furnish this house! 🏠

This felt house comes with felt pieces of furniture, and is a great way to target language! Get your child to pick a felt object and name it to practise their specific vocabulary.

After that, you can also target their category knowledge by asking them to tell you which room it belongs in. They can then stick it onto the house as a reward!

With many 8 rooms and many objects to explore, this will really work on their language skills. See how long it takes them to furnish the whole house! 🤭

One of our favourite games in clinic. Not only is it motivating, it is a great way to practice speech sounds both at the word level and phrase/sentence levels. The word targets provided also have the speech sounds in beginning, middle and end positions making it great for working up that hierarchy and practice. Kids love putting the counters on the board and using the magnetic wand to magically pick up all the counters. 🪄
