I was sitting in a cafe yesterday when my husband said his hand was twitching and it was annoying him. I pressed a couple of acupressure points to start releasing and rebalancing the area.

It worked but as you’ll see at the end of the video all of his fingers start to twitch.

His body is allowing the rebalancing to occur but then sends out a nervous system reaction on mass to check what’s happening.

It’s like the last set of fireworks before the calm except instead of ending the entertainment on a high note, the body is making sure it’s released everything and can settle back down.

My husband went straight into the gym and had no problems with his hand twitching.

What’s something that you find annoying that might just need a little rebalancing?

Are you willing to pay attention to the signals from the body and take action to find a solution?

Happy to answer any questions.

I read this book in an afternoon!!
A Sunday afternoon well spent!

The premise is we can compare ourselves to our ideal (or to other people) but this comparison is looking at our gap. The distance is great and never achievable as the goalposts or our ideal will always change.

Or we can measure ourselves and our progress, against what we have gained. Measure All the wins that we often forget about when trying to reach our ideal.

Reading this, right now are you in the gap and comparing yourself or the gain and celebrating your wins?

When something difficult arises in your life, do you compare your current situation to what you think your ideal life would be?

How unhelpful is that, yet we can all get caught up doing it!!

Awareness when you go into the gap is important and then building skills to come back to the gain is where I can help.

If you want to chat more about this, drop a comment or dm with “Gain”.

Here to help people shift through anxiety and past trauma and move into a life full of freedom.

And love that this client recognised how they can then take their new awareness and healing and also pay it forwards for others 🌸

Energy is so important to understand.

Where are you spending your energy?
Where are you wasting energy?
How do you create energy?

Consider bringing this into your awareness for the week ❤️

What is your Perception?

We need to be aware of the thoughts we are having and the impact that can have.

At this time of year we can think of things as festive or stressful.

For example yesterday I wore a red dress to work and got several comments about how festive I looked.

I have worn this dress to work over the years at all different times of year but I wear it in December and it’s “festive”.

What’s your perception about this time of year? Festive or stressed? Family fun or family feud?

Do you feel Jan 1st is the only time to commit to your health and wellbeing?

Be mindful of your thoughts and if they aren’t where you want them to be, let’s chat.

In Australia we have the culture to celebrate with an alcoholic beverage.

The good, the bad, the in between - have a beer or a wine to mark the occasion.

But what if you didn’t do that? Would you feel ok? Does the thought of not drinking make you a bit uncomfortable?

Thinking who would I be without a drink? Can I truly celebrate without alcohol? How would I celebrate without alcohol?

It can be done by understanding why you use alcohol to celebrate and asking if it serves you. And if it doesn’t serve you then you get creative to find other ways to celebrate.

Last week my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by going to a tea tasting ☕️

Yes tasting several different teas that you drink 🫖 the photos are the last tea we had starting as a little ball and unfolding into this gorgeousness of a flower 🤍

And we had fun!!

If this makes you think about Christmas and the festive period and wonder how you can get through with a little less alcohol, I would suggest you start planning.

What can you have instead?
Low or zero alcohol beverages?
Sparkling water?
Kombucha?
A fancy tea?

And remember to be flexible with yourself. This is a stressful period as it is so if the plan changes remember that’s fine.

Do you have any other ideas on how to celebrate without alcohol? Drop a comment as I would love to hear from you!!

Wellbeing and mindset work is often done in the shadows.

By the person, by themselves.
Or with a practitioner as a guide to navigating a new way of being, lifestyle or thoughts and feelings.

So I find it interesting that I’m standing directly in the shadow in this picture (on the right).

This is the Sea Eagles women’s team in the Harvey Norman premiership.

I am their wellbeing manager.

I have run workshops with them which brings everyone the same information but most of the work is done one on one.

In quiet chats, phone calls pre training, texts between their other jobs.

And all with the aim of allowing their overall wellbeing, them as a human, to find balance and be enhanced so they reach their potential.

A happy person away from the field will be able to contribute more on the field.

It’s the same for everyone else, not just athletes.

If you want to look at your overall wellbeing and mindset and make some tweaks that ripple across all areas of your life, please reach out.
