SaraSwati Shakti My guiding light when creating art is to express beauty and meaning to illuminate life. https://lovingpsyche.com/art Therapist, as Artist.

Appreciate the power that the arts play in transformation of the both the artist and viewer alike. Images tap into a language that doesn't necessarily need words, are personally relevant in interpretive, and can inspire actions, and shifts in attitudes and perceptions.

The Rose and The Lotus

The Wandering of the Rose of the Soul, and the Unfolding of the Lotus of Consciousness, are analogous. As Homogenous Flowers of Gifted Preciousness, they provide a bridging of concepts of Eastern and Western Traditions.

As the Lotus comes out and up from the roots and opens to awareness, the Christian symbol of the Rose has the same revealing essence.

And as we do our soul work, with time and love, the flower opens.

Each petal unfolds into a full flower of wholeness.

These mandalas amplify those concepts of the conscious feminine in my artistic impressions.

The first mandala is titled Rose Petals in the Springtime Cup of Awareness. And the second mandala companion is titled Red Lotus of Whole Consciousness.

Each coloured red signifying love, care, passion, and affection.

They form a pictorial pair representation of the beauty of consciousness in the wholly blossomed feminine, both grounded and ascended.

Trinity of Prosperity

This mandala piece emerged in time for Sharad Navratri as recognition of the deities of Saraswati, Durga, and Lakshmi.

Punctuated in the solar crown by the red bindu, it is a Goddess Trinity as my westernised representation from Hindu.

Yet it could also be interpreted as the three stages of womanhood: Maiden, Mother, and Wisdom. And the prosperity of the Queendom trinity of earthly life growth experiences.

Regardless, for me, it represents a Holy Trinity of Goddess Energy. With the prosperity from a golden solar jewel synergy.

I love how art can be interpreted liberally. And exemplify so much in diversity. For me, the richness of drawing from western and eastern philosophies provides an amplification of the prosperity of diversity.

And whatever you see in it, it emerged for me with a verse of blessings for Sharad Navratri this coming week.

Sharad Navratri Trinity
Saraswati Durga Lakshmi

For Wisdom, Favour and Prosperity
With Faithful Love of Beauty

The Blessings from Goddess’ Deity
For Divine Breadth of Opportunity

Happy Sharad Navrati for those who observe it. And your stage of divine womanhood, wherever you are in it. May it draw you to love and prosperity and your version of life beauty.

Blessings.

mandala compositions

With some afternoon coaching cancellations, prior to what many will enjoy as an extended holiday, I have been preparing the office studio for sorting mandala compositions, and writing story reflections, amongst other directions, in the rainy days forecast ahead.

When you create art in the margins of your life, some dedicated time is always a valuable opportunity for recollections of collections.

Enjoy whatever directions call you to create your own beauty bouquet connections.

Our Story

All art forms affect the way we live and appreciate life.

As a Therapist, and an Artist, I understand the power that the arts play in the transformation of both the artist, and the viewer, alike.

A Jungian at heart, I use sacred mandalas as an experiential art and therapeutic form of stillness and meditative practice to tap into conscious and unconscious understanding of process, and collective awareness. I appreciate the richness available from symbols, colours, and meanings relevant to clarifying personal perspectives, and directions.

And because images tap into a language that doesn't necessarily need words, they become a bridge to the inner world. This makes them personally relevant in interpretive, both as a means of inspiring self-understanding and clarity, as well as determining future actions, and shifts in attitudes and perceptions, that impact well-being and wholeness.
