Home Mind Connection

Home Mind Connection As a Professional Organiser for 11+ years, I now blend home organisation with Holistic & Meditative practices. Providing decluttering services & NEW workshops

Discover how decluttering, holistic health & mindfulness can create harmony in your home & mind. As a mum of three boys I understand the daily pressures of how hectic and stressful a day in the life of a mum can be. Homework, sporting activities, household chores and that never ending "TO DO" list. Because of this my main focus is on creating time for busy mums, however I also understand that most people are extremely busy and can all benefit from Free Time "4 Me" Time. Free Time 4 Me Time can help ease your everyday stress, by taking over your TO DO lists, creating valuable time to spend with loved ones and importantly well deserved ME time for you. As a professional organiser I will:

* Organise Cupboards such as the pantry, linen and wardrobes
* De-clutter rooms such as toy rooms, bedrooms and studies.
* Sort out old clothes and toys
* Create photo books and gifts from your digital and hard copy photos
* Create systems for children's art, hobbies and year books
* Shop for and wrap Birthday and Christmas presents

- essentially, if it is on your "TO DO" list, my aim is to get it done for you, leaving you with peace of mind and time to relax. Currently servicing Sydney's Northern Beaches.

The 10-10 rule is a well known decluttering technique, it’s setting a timer and removing 10 items in 10 minutes. It works because it removes overwhelm and gives your brain a clear start and a clear finish.

But I’ve been thinking about something different. A way to calm both our homes and our minds.

What if we spent just 4 minutes on each pillar of H.O.M.E?

4 minutes of stretching or breathing. 4 minutes clearing just one surface. 4 minutes being fully present. 4 minutes connecting with someone.

Just 16 minutes a day - together or spread throughout the day.

Small intentional actions like this makes our brain feel safe, not overwhelmed, and it reduces our decision making fatigue. By doing this 4-4 method, you’re doing something that feels manageable which makes you far more likely to repeat it.

Just 16 minutes can build momentum, which over time can create a calmer home and a calmer mind.

Have you ever noticed that ust one tiny shift in your home can make life feel a bit lighter? It’s taking 5 minutes to wash the dishes after dinner - so your mornings start fresh, picking up those clothes on the floor, or unpacking your suitcase that you came home with a week ago. I’ve been doing a lot of work on my H.O.M.E. philosophy again lately and I’m excited to start sharing again — practical things that actually work in our often hectic lives.

Small changes. Gentle intention. A home that holds you, not stresses you.
A home created with intention should feel like a place to land, not another thing on the to-do list.

Welcome H.O.M.E.

What is H.O.M.E.?

H.O.M.E. stands for Holistic Organisation Made Easy — a space where wellbeing, mindfulness, and everyday organisation come together.

At its centre are four simple pillars:

Health – caring for your body, your space and your energy.
Organised Home – creating calm, functional spaces that support how you live.
Mindfulness – slowing down, breathing and being present.
Everyday Connection – To yourself, your loved ones, your home and others.

Together, these pillars form the foundation of Home Mind Connection.

From these, it’s my intention to share small, meaningful steps that help bring balance, clarity, and connection through the highs and lows we have in our everyday lives.

Welcome H.O.M.E.

Hi everyone,

Well, it’s been a while since I last shared here. Life has certainly brought its share of challenges and changes over the past six months.
Between caring for my brother (who lives with Huntington’s Disease), supporting my family, and trying to stay centred through it all, I needed to pause.

The time away gave me space to breathe, to rethink, and to rediscover what truly matters to me — Connection.
Connection to our homes. Connection to our minds. Connection to each other.

Through this, something new began to take shape — something that just feels right. It’s the new heart of Home Mind Connection.

It’s H.O.M.E — Holistic Organisation Made Easy.
It’s about bringing calm, clarity and connection into everyday life — through gentle organisation, mindful living and habits that feel nurturing rather than overwhelming.

I’ve been working on some beautiful new creations with this in mind, designed to help you pause, breathe, and reconnect and I can’t wait to share them with you soon.

I’ve truly missed being here, and I’m so grateful for everyone who’s still following along. Here’s to real-life journeys, pausing, reconnecting, and finding peace in our everyday busy lives.

Welcome H.O.M.E.

Welcome to this Decluttering and Mindfulness Challenge!

For over 13 years, I’ve helped people declutter their homes, but one thing I’ve learned is that decluttering isn’t just about the physical stuff. It’s also about what’s going on in our minds. When we shift both, real change happens.
That’s exactly what this Challenge is here to help with! Each day, I’ll share:
*A small decluttering or mindfulness action
*A paired mindfulness or decluttering practice
* A simple reason why it works
The goal is to bring more clarity, calm, and space into your life—both inside and out.
These are short, simple tasks, and they don’t need to be perfect. I suggest you try 5-10 minutes each day to see the difference.

How it works:
Each day, I’ll share:
*A small decluttering or mindfulness action – A simple step to clear space in your home or mind.
*A paired mindfulness or decluttering practice – Helping you connect with the process.
*A simple reason why it works – So you can see the deeper impact of these small shifts.
You can do one or both—whatever feels right for you!
I look forward to hearing how you go!
