Struggling to gain muscle? Make sure you're following these four guidelines:

1. Train hard with 0 - 4 reps in reserve
2. Hit 8 - 10 hard sets (see above) per muscle group each week
3. Train at least twice a week
4. Eat at least maintenance calories alongside 1.6 - 2g of protein per kilogram of bodyweight
