Blacktown Family Medical Centre is a well established and fully equipped Medical Centre that provides exceptional standards of healthcare service to our patients. We have health services provided by
GP’s, psychologist, physiotherapist, podiatrist, dietician, social workers, acupuncturist, general surgeon, specialists, xray’s, pathology and dentists. We have an excellent team of practice nurses and

reception staff. We are fully accredited by AGPAL and computerized medical practice. Our building is located in the centre of Blacktown CBD. Close to Wespoint, Tafe, bus & train station and with walking distance to Blacktown Hospital. We are a multicultural Medical practice with Doctors who are able to speak others languages than English which includes Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Hungarian, Turkish, Tagalog, Singalese, Hindi, Vietnamese, Cantonese and Mandarin. Our aim is to provide quality care and service to our patients, and achieve to maintain the highest standards in general practice.

HOTDOC is now available for booking appointments for some of our Doctors and Specialist. You can now book an appointment through the link from our website or simply download the Hotdoc App on your phone. Reminders and confirmation will be sent to you through Hotdoc via Email, sms or app notification when a booking is made and 24 hrs before the appointment date and time.

Due to Telehealth and Covid vaccinations, we are receiving a high volume of phone calls each day. We appreciate your patience as phone consult appointments assure the doctors will call you on the day. We apologise if appointments do not run on time and expect delays.

Our temporary business hours as of 23/8/2021 until 3/10/2021 will be:-

Monday to Friday: 8am to 7pm
Weekends: 9am to 5pm

The practice will now be offering Telephone consults only. Please book a telephone appointment through the Health Engine site.

The practice is experiencing a very high volume of telephone calls.

Please do not contact the medical centre in regards to Pfizer vaccination availability as we are currently booked out until October 2021.

AstraZeneca is available with an appointment.

Please consult a GP to check your eligibility.

Any flu symptoms, we urge you to stay home and get tested.

Please do not come into the Medical Centre unless you have an appointment and do not have any flu-like symptoms including sore throat, cough, headache, runny nose, body aches and pains.

If it is an emergency, please contact 000 or visit the local hospital.

If you’ve been keeping a close eye on the case locations, you will see that a number of chemists and medical centres have been recently listed.

Don’t visit a chemist or medical centre if you have any cold or flu symptoms before getting tested for COVID-19, self-isolating and receiving a negative result.

If you need to speak to a doctor about your symptoms, call your GP or medical centre to ask about a telehealth appointment.

If you need medicine to manage your symptoms while waiting for your test result, call your chemist about other options such as contactless home delivery or order online if you can.
