Morning Melodies at The Joan 🎶

Residents from The Manor enjoyed a wonderful morning of music at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, with a special performance by Peter Cousens and Friends.

From toe-tapping tunes to heartfelt melodies, it was a memorable outing enjoyed in great company. 💃🕺🎤

We celebrated NAIDOC Week at The Royce with creativity, culture, and community! 🖤❤️💛
Residents took part in a hands-on basket weaving class and beautiful Smoking Ceremony, while the Social Committee served up a delicious sausage sizzle for all to enjoy.

💛🖤❤️ Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2025 at The Royce 💛🖤❤️
This year’s theme, ‘The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy’, marks the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week, and honours the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while looking ahead to the leadership of future generations.
We’ll be commemorating the week with a Smoking Ceremony and Didgeridoo performance, followed by a BBQ in the Courtyard, proudly supported by the Village Social Committee.

🌼 Our community came together to support the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea and Residents showcased their baking talents! 🍰
A special thank you to Ross Dobson from Cafe Royce, who judged our baking competition. Congratulations to our winners, Pam and Lyn, for their delectable passionfruit slice—each unique and equally delicious!
Together, we raised over $725, and with The Royce matching this amount, our total contribution to the Cancer Council is $1,450.
