UPDATE: Changes to paracetamol product pack sizes, effective from 1 February 2025, in accordance with new regulations by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

Paracetamol products such as Panadol, Chemist’s Own, Panamax and Pharmacy Choice will have adjusted pack sizes and access methods at all pharmacies nationwide.

What’s Changing for NSW?

In NSW, packs that contain less than 50 tablets/caplets will remain available for self-selection while packs of paracetamol with 50 tablets/caplets or more, will only be available behind the counter and require interaction with one of our pharmacists.
