Everything starts with feet.

Walking into clinic each day, I’m reminded how much more this profession is than just treatment. Patients come in for their feet… but over time, it becomes conversations about family, travel, life, and everything in between.

That’s the part I love most — building real relationships. It never stays “just clinical.”

Podiatry is such a dynamic, evolving space. From treating patients in my new Foot Care Gallery, to connecting with other practitioners when I demonstrate GermGuard, to working with runners through FYNISH — every day looks different, and that’s what makes it so exciting.

And I know this is only the beginning.

Growing Strong Feet
I recently shared my Growing Strong Feet Guide with families at St Thomas Willoughby — because so many of the issues we see later actually begin in childhood.

Fungal infections don’t just live on the skin or in the nail.

They live in your shoes.

One of the biggest takeaways from recent APodA Fungal Focus discussions, including insights shared by Danni Miatke, is this:

If you’re not treating footwear, you’re not fully treating the infection.

Onychomycosis. Persistent athlete’s foot. Even verrucae.
Reinfection often starts the moment patients put their shoes back on.

This video was taken while I was still working in Bondi Junction — and watching it back now, at this stage in my journey, it means even more.

This is a patient I had the privilege of caring for over many years. Hearing her words again reminded me how much trust is built over time — and how special those relationships really are.

Over the past few weeks, as I’ve opened my own clinic, I’ve been stepping into something new… meeting new patients, starting again, and slowly building.

But at the core, nothing has really changed.

Whether it’s treating patients in clinic, supporting podiatrists through GermGuard™, or building FYNISH™ around prevention and performance — it all comes back to the same thing:

care, consistency, and better outcomes for the people we look after.

I’m so grateful for the years in Bondi Junction, and for every patient who trusted me along the way.

Over time, people have asked me what exactly I do — and the answer is actually quite simple.

I’m a podiatrist, and my work is focused on one belief:

Feet are the foundation of how we live, move and perform.

That philosophy now lives across three areas of my work:

Foot Care Gallery – where I see and treat patients in clinic in Willoughby.
