Trauma group therapy is considered an effective form of treatment and is commonly offered to survivors of trauma. In fact, 2017 research suggests that group therapy offers more advantages over individual therapy in that it helps “normalise” trauma symptoms and offers social support to participants.
Group Therapy, led by our Clinical Team, happens daily in our program and is a vital component of our comprehensive treatment program. These groups provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals can connect with others who share similar experiences, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding. Guided by our highly experienced Psychotherapists, clients engage in open discussions, share their challenges, and celebrate their progress together. This collaborative approach not only reinforces personal growth but also enhances accountability and resilience. Our Peer Support Groups are designed to complement individual therapy, offering an additional layer of support that is essential for sustained recovery.
