This practical, OT-focused education session draws on real clinical and lived experience to support occupational therapists in confidently prescribing assistive technology for travel and portable use.
✔️ We will explore how and when to use travel-specific assistive technology, key features of commonly prescribed equipment, and clinical reasoning around who these solutions are (and are not) suitable for.
✔️ The session is designed to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, with hands-on demonstrations and practical discussion from Eamon and the team at Nudge Assist.

In this session, we’ll cover
✅ Who this equipment best supports and when it may not be appropriate.

✅ Real-world applications for holidays, respite, hospital discharge, and community access.
✅ Live demonstrations and hands-on trials of featured equipment.
✅ Practical clinical tips informed by lived and professional experience.
This session is ideal for occupational therapists working in disability, community, rehabilitation, and complex care settings who want to strengthen their clinical reasoning and confidence when prescribing assistive technology for travel.
