20,000 New Home Care Packages – Are You Ready?

There’s big news for older Australians: the Government has confirmed the release of 20,000 new Home Care Packages before 1 November 2025. Another 20,000 Support at Home packages will be available by December, with even more to come in early 2026.

This announcement is a huge step forward in reducing waiting times, giving more seniors the opportunity to receive quality in-home care sooner and more. But with high demand expected, it’s important to act now.

If you or a loved one have been waiting for care, now is the time to start the conversation. By planning ahead, you can ensure that when funds become available, your care needs are already understood and ready to be supported under the new Support at Home Program.

Today is Daffodil Day - it's is a significant event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for cancer research, support services, and prevention programs. Organised by the Cancer Council, it symbolises hope for a cancer-free future.
The daffodil flower is chosen as a symbol of hope and renewal, reflecting the resilience of those affected by cancer.
