Sound healing has always been a part of Angalie’s offerings however my call to vibration became very apparent last year so I decided to gift myself a Sound Of Being Training in Mullumbimby…. Wow I was so deeply grateful I chose to follow my heart and intuition on this choice!

What’s smudging you ask???

A loved practice of 🩷

Sacred smoke created from burning medicinal or sacred plants is an aspect of many cultures and ancient traditions.

Use of sacred smoke can be found in East Asian Buddhist ceremonies, Japanese Shinto, Indigenous practices of North and South Americas, Chinese Taoism, Ancestor worship, Roman and Liberal Catholic services, Early Judaism, Christian worship, Hindu traditions, Paganism, Celtic traditions, Egyptian traditions… chances are high we all have deep roots to draw from. My ancestry is both Irish and Scottish, and so use the term “saining” in reference to this type of work.
Common reasons to perform sacred smoke rituals may be as a way of prayer, blessing, or as an act of devotion.

To clear, cleanse, or purify the energy of a person, place, or object. They may be enacted as a healing aid, to become present and grounded, as an offering, or as a means to create sacred space.

Some will use it as a way of invoking or calling in aid from spiritual allies and the medicines of the herbs, elements, and tools used. In some traditions, a clay, brass or other metal dish is used to hold the herbs, wood, or coals to burn resin. Here on the coast, a shell is common. Hands, feathers, boughs, or fans may be used to direct the smoke or a crucible may be used to swing through a space.

When burning the herb of your choice, it is important not to forget the most important tool of all—your intention. Set the intention that the smoke will clear and lift any negative or stagnant energy.

Last but not least our beautiful and powerful sisters! What an incredibly beautiful group of women, no words describe the connection that took place over the weekend of Divine Illumination, Aleks, Rachi, Lauren, Vanessa, Tiff and Rach Dawn - we honor you sisters for your strength and courage 🙏🏼

Women have gathered in circles since ancient times. They came together to cook and share stories, learn, pass down wisdom, and support each other…

In the 1400s women healers and spiritual leaders started being prosecuted, and women’s circles deminished.

Today the awareness of the feminine is rising, and women are seeking out community to find our way back. Our way back to the age-old traditions that have been bringing us together in the past. We are starting to celebrate many of the things that we have been suppressing and hiding in the recent past.…

It is a space where we lift each other up and hold each other safe, illuminate our light, where we get to tap into our naturally gifted intuition and knowing. It allows us to follow our internal whispers and find what we need to heal, to grow, to awaken and expand.

These circles are a ritual to connect with the natural world, each other, and celebrate the feminine.

It’s time to celebrate you!

Magnetic. Powerful. Transformational.Sisterhood. Divine Illumination

These words barely scratch the surface of our transcendent weekend retreat. The energy was palpable, the release profound, as we journeyed together into the depths of our collective spirit.

In the sacred container we co-created, we found the courage to surrender to the process. Each moment became a portal to deeper understanding and connection - with ourselves, with each other, and with the divine feminine energy that flows through us all.

To all the inspiring women who attended - your strength, vulnerability, and openness created something truly magical. We stand in awe of your radiant souls and the wisdom you shared. Thank you for trusting in this transformative experience and for allowing your light to shine so brightly.

Connections intertwined…. Life weaving a web of experiences leading us to this very moment!
Our journey began when our beautiful sista .ezra invited us to collaborate to join forces in creating a sacred journey for woman to come together in community to heal, awaken and step into their power! Sacred Remembrance our first retreat, with our 4th sister ….. and so our journey began….. as life unfolds you never know where a path may lead… following your intuition and heart will always lead you in the right direction!
