Magnolia 🌷

This little princess is Magnolia 🌺 Who is a 4 month old Beagle pup & the newest member of a very loving family. She came in recently for her 3rd puppy vaccination and was such a brave and sweet little lady 🩷 We absolutely adore her older Pug brother, Bentley, but there is always more love to go around and we cannot wait to watch Magnolia bloom! 🌸

A wild ride for Hudson 🤎

Hudson is a beautiful 4 year old Labrador, who has been coming to us since he was just a pup. He is a typical Chocolate Lab, where they are a tornado of energy and love and we wouldn’t have Hudson any other way! 🌪️

He was in recently to be desexed where it was noted to check a lump on his sc***um that his awesome mum had noticed. Once anaesthetised, we were able to take a FNA (fine needle aspiration) of this lump safely & it was diagnosed as a Mast Cell Tumour… Mast Cell Tumors are lumps that account for 20% of approximately all skin tumors on dogs.These lumps are highly recommended to be surgically removed as they can spread to organs in the animals body. 🔬

Hudson’s castrate turned into a scrotal ablation, where the skin along the sc***um is removed, and the lump was sent off to be tested by a histopathologist. Thankfully, the results returned as a low grade MCT & we will be monitoring closely from now on 🙌🏼

We have been seeing Hudson back for his rechecks and he is still bouncing around without an off switch each time he visits 🥹 Swipe to see baby Hudson! We love you Buddy 🤎

Gecko 🦎

Not only is his name adorable but look at that face! Gecko was in recently where the cuddles were passed & an impromptu photoshoot had to take place! 💚

He was such a wriggly little boy but loved his cuddles with our training Nurse Jasmin, and we are all looking forward to the return of this beautiful little Gecko 🥹

Recovery mode for Maggie 💗

This beautiful Persian girl was in with us recently to be desexed. Maggie’s desexing was delayed due to issues with her eye which are no longer lingering, and she was more than happy to still be in our care 🩵 Because she is a Persian (Brachycephalic), we monitored her recover in our lunchroom meaning more eyes on her for safety and more opportunities for cuddles 💜 We hope you’re healing up well Little Maggie!

Smooches for Henry 🤎

This beautiful boy is a 7 year old Cavalier, who is the absolute master at stealing hearts. He has the sweetest nature and will squirm his way up to you in hopes of a belly rub or just any attention at all 😭

He is a very well known boy in our neck of the woods, frequently in for a**l gland expressions, phenobarbital blood tests for his epilepsy, and most recently for a dental procedure! 🦷

Henry only needed to have a few wobbly incisors out (which are the front “baby” teeth), and had a very smooth anaesthetic and recovery 🤍 He was cared for by Dr Elsa & Nurse Leah (who is Henry’s #1 fan) and we are already ready for his next visit 🥹

JJ 🧸

This sweet little guy is JJ, a 5 year old Maltese X, who came in recently for his vaccination. During his physical exam with Dr Justine, his human mum mentioned that he had a bit of an oopsie recently jumping from a vehicle on a farm & was non weight bearing on his left hind leg.

He showed us enough pain to assume this wasn’t only a soft tissue injury, and was admitted for radiographs. Unfortunately for little JJ his xrays showed a dislocated hip & small fracture. Dr Justine applied an Ehmer sling to help stabilise JJ’s hip in place and we will be re-xraying soon to see if this sling has been successful 🤞🏼

Throughout, little JJ was such a sweet boy and loved to snuggle into anyone who was handling him, his little tail continued to wag and he put a smile on all of our faces 🥹 Rest up little JJ 🤎

A reminder to keep your pets warm and comfortable in the cooler months, even though they have hair and furr they can still feel the cold just like us! 🥶 Symptoms of arthritis in dogs and cats, due to cold and damp conditions can cause increased stiffness and discomfort in joints!

Keep an eye out for signs such as:
- Limping
- Reluctance to exercise
- Difficulty finding a comfortable resting position
- Stiffness
- Over-licking joints

Klaw, Kitty, & Kimba 🐈

This adorable trio of cats are the family of a long time client. They are such sweet and beautiful kitties that we’re so grateful we get to care for when needed.

Kitty is the attention queen, not afraid to beg for love and playtime. She is friends with any cat & always found hanging out in another condo or at the top of our cat castle! 🤎

Klaw is a little more shy but appreciates soft and gentle pats. He spends most of the day to himself or with his siblings, but once you call his name he immediately emerges for his cuddles or treats 🧡

Kimba recently had a dental with us during his stay, and had made it through recovery mode with extravagant amounts of cuddles and soft food. Now back to his biscuits and treats, he is loving life! 🤍

Please be aware if you were planning on booking in your cat for boarding at christmas time, we are almost booked out so please call us to get in fast! 📞

Milo 🩶

This chubby cheeked, adorable ball of cuddles is Milo, who up until very recently was a stray! Normally this means a bit of a difficult task when handling, but boy was he the best 🥹 He was in for desexing, and sat so still for his check over and cannula placement, and wanted cuddles immediately after waking up from his procedure. Lots of nurses were missing that day, and all to be found at his cage getting in as many snuggles as possible 😂 We love Milo!
