Under Labor, Cheaper Medicines are about to get even cheaper – we’re taking the cost of medicines back to 2004 prices.

From next January, a re-elected Labor Government will make sure a PBS prescription costs no more than $25.00.

This reduction will save local residents more $1.6 million in cheaper medicines.

Because you shouldn’t have to check your bank balance to see if you can afford to see a doctor or buy the medicine you need

Recently I met with Patrick, a local pharmacist who’s also passionate about cheaper medicines for our local community. He supports this commitment because he knows what a difference it will make.

Chuffed to see so many state politicians taking charge of their health and getting the flu jab at NSW Parliament House today. Amidst a busy day in the house, they made time to protect themselves and those around them as we move out of the summer months and into winter.

Remember, prevention is always better than cure. Make sure to get your flu jab from your local pharmacist, now available in most pharmacies and often through walk-in service. Stay healthy and safe this flu season!
