✨🧘♀️ Meet our Pilates instructor, Grace!🧘♂️✨
Grace worked as a specialised physiotherapist in neurorehabilitation at rehab hospitals in Korea for the past 6 years. Additionally, for about 1 year, she worked in a Pilates studio as a part-time instructor. Since arriving in Sydney in 2015, she has specialised in rehabilitation Pilates while working as a physiotherapy assistant and Pilates instructor up to the present.
She first encountered Pilates in 2014 while working as a physiotherapist because of its approach to core training, known as the powerhouse. By experiencing it firsthand and observing how bodies react through various movements, her awareness and coordination of the core and body improved. Feeling how much her body could change in a short period of time, she couldn't help but be fascinated by this form of exercise as a rehabilitation physiotherapist. Even now, her goal is to offer exceptional rehabilitation experiences to patients from various perspectives, incorporating her experiences and meeting diverse individuals' needs.
Through experiencing pregnancy and childbirth recently, she has felt even more strongly about the importance of lifelong healthcare for individuals of all ages. Since the beginning of her career as a physiotherapist, physiotherapy assistant, and Pilates instructor, she has learned how to engage with individuals' lifestyles and health needs. She continues to seek out opportunities to enhance their quality of life.
Currently, Grace has started studying physiotherapy at the University of Sydney to further her career as a physiotherapist in Australia.
