Diamond Women is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of compassionate and caring individuals that seek to provide help and support to women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. DPS offers practical assistance in the way of baby and maternity goods, emotional and spiritual support through counselling and group classes to train and equip women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. Through a network of community service organisations we are able to connect our clients to organisations that assist in meeting their medium and long term goals. Diamond Women provides for the relief of anxiety and distress faced by women surrounding an unplanned pregnancy by meeting their immediate and long term needs. Diamond Women works with women, their partners and families to provide long term solutions in the best interest of both themselves and their unborn child. We at Diamond Women believe that every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves support, respect, kindness, compassion and care.

This month we had the joy of welcoming the newest little member of the Diamond Women family. 🥰

Our hearts are so full knowing this precious bub arrived safely and that his mama is safe and healthy after childbirth. This journey has been one of courage, strength, hope, and love, and we’re so honoured to be part of it.

Rex’s mama has shown incredible bravery and we’re grateful to continue walking alongside her and her baby every step of the way.

For 20 years, love has been at the heart of Diamond Women, and this Valentine’s Day, we paused to reflect on what that love looks like in action. Love here looks like counselling sessions that create space for honesty and hope. It looks like baby and mum goods packed with care. It looks like practical support, casework, and services that ease the pressure and remind a woman she’s not alone.

When we wrote out all the ways we support women and stepped back, it formed one word… LOVE. For 20 years, this is the kind of love our community has made possible. Thank you for standing with us this Valentines season and for helping us walk alongside vulnerable women and their babies.

When a woman is facing an unplanned or challenging pregnancy, it can feel overwhelming, and often the small, everyday things end up being pushed aside. That’s why something as simple as a hygiene box can make a real difference. It’s a practical way to ease the pressure and remind her that she is seen, valued, loved, and cared for.

Thanks to your support, we were able to drop off another hygiene box to an expecting mum who needed a little extra help today.

This is one of the reasons why we exist.
For some women, pregnancy becomes one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives especially when domestic violence and coercion are involved.

Lucia’s story is one of courage. Last week, she gave birth to her baby boy, and we sat beside her in hospital, talking through her next steps and how we’ll continue supporting her and her baby.

This week we welcomed another Diamond baby into the world, Tonya!! 🥰🥰

Last year, Tonya’s mum came to us feeling nervous and unsure about what motherhood could look like in her circumstances. Because of you, she was able to receive counselling, practical support and consistent care, giving her the courage to step into motherhood with hope and strength.

This week she sent us photos of her beautiful baby girl and wrote:

“We are finally here together, eye to eye, heart to heart. Thank you Diamond Women. We wouldn’t be here in such health and strength without your guidance and support.

DWS offers practical assistance in the way of baby and maternity goods, emotional and spiritual support through counselling and group classes to train and equip women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. Diamond Women’s Support works with women, their partners and families to provide long term solutions in the best interest of both themselves and their unborn child. We at Diamond Women’s Support believe that every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves support, respect, kindness, compassion and care. Diamond is providing an opportunity out of the current cycle of feeling that they are cornered and that there are no options left for them except to terminate their pregnancy. Lack of support and education plus continual bombardment by the media instills fear and lack of options - that an unexpected pregnancy is 'the end'. DWS runs a completely free support centre in the middle of Western Sydney (and operate throughout NSW) we are able to offer compassionate care and support to women and their families facing an unplanned pregnancy.
