What does a healthy, balanced meal actually look like?
So many of my clients come to me eating “healthy”…
But still feel tired, bloated, or stuck in a cycle of cravings and low energy.

Often, the issue isn’t what they’re eating — it’s how they’re balancing it.

This is the simple formula I teach in clinic:

🥦 Half the plate → Fibre-rich veggies & some fruit
🍠 Quarter plate → Slow-release starchy carbs
🍳 Palm-size protein → Like chicken, tofu, fish or eggs
🥑 Thumb-size fats → Think olive oil, avocado, seeds

Signing Off for Easter… with a (Winter Wellness) Bang!

Wrapping up for the Easter break with one last highlight: delivering a Winter Wellness session this morning for some of my favourite corporate clients— and the North West Hub Alliance.

We explored Simple, Healthy Daily Habits to Winter-Proof Yourself and the energy from the group was such a perfect way to finish the season.

That said… things didn’t go off without a hitch!

About an hour before the talk, loud drilling and hammering started right above my head. Cue instant stress.

Thankfully my beautiful building manager (seriously, an angel), the noise was shut down just in time—allowing me to speak in peace without competing with a jackhammer. Small wins!

This marks the end of a very full-on patch—juggling more than I probably should have.

So now, I’m really looking forward to shutting down and soaking up some much-needed rest and family time over Easter…

(Even though we’ve somehow managed to fill 3 out of 4 days with family birthdays. Classic.)

Here’s to rest, connection, and quality time with the people we love.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.

See you on the flip side—with full hearts, bright eyes, and maybe just a little less concealer needed.
