Yaaay 🌻 the first day of spring and what a beautiful day it was. For generations, this time of year has been a symbol of renewal. As trees bud, flowers bloom, and energy stirs after winter’s stillness, we’re reminded that seasons aren’t just dates on a calendar they’re gentle invitations to pause, reflect, and begin again. Around the world, spring has inspired rituals, stories, and traditions, all pointing to the same truth: what we nurture now will bloom later. Spring ultimately invites us to reflect on life’s impermanence. As Heraclitus said, “No man ever steps in the same river twice.” Just as the earth warms and blossoms again, we too are reminded that change is the only constant, and with change comes growth.

Thanks to our circadian rhythms (which naturally adjust with light exposure), our internal pace begins to shift. We feel lighter, more open, more ready to grow and let go of what no longer fits. Just like nature, we really are built to change. It’s in our design…to adapt, to evolve, to stretch toward the light even after seasons of stillness or darkness. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with starting slow; what matters is that we start. Because real growth doesn’t happen with just one step, it’s a series of baby steps, with a little cha-cha along the way 😉

Rainbows are not just gentle reminders of beauty after a storm; they symbolize the deeper truth that growth, healing, and joy often follow our hardest moments. Across many cultures and traditions, it’s believed that suffering isn’t meaningless; it’s part of the soul’s journey toward wisdom, peace, and even enlightenment. The rain we endure can shape us into more compassionate, resilient, and awakened versions of ourselves, and the rainbow is a sign that the struggle had a purpose 🌈

Neuroscience even shows that the brain forms new connections and builds resilience when we face and process emotional pain. Historically, from ancient myths to modern movements, humanity has always emerged stronger after struggle and the rainbow, in many traditions, has symbolized hope, renewal, and divine promise.

Personal growth works the same way. We often discover who we truly are after we’ve been tested. The rainbow is not just a reward, it’s a transformation. It reflects a new version of us: wiser, deeper, and more compassionate, emerging only after the storm has passed. So next time you see a rainbow, remember…it’s not just the end of a storm, but the beginning of a stronger, brighter chapter in your journey.

To put it another way: no pain, no gain 😉
