Appetite regulation is not just about willpower.

OEA is one of the body’s natural satiety signals — produced in the gut and involved in how we feel full and how we use fat for energy.

When this signalling isn’t working well, it can feel like:
• You’re hungry soon after eating
• You’re not satisfied by meals
• Your weight isn’t responding

OEA is now available in supplement form and, in the right context, may be a useful step before considering medication.
If this resonates, it may be worth exploring as part of a personalised plan.

Vitamin K isn’t as well known, but it’s so essential that newborns are given an injection at birth.
It plays a key role in blood clotting, helping protect against serious bleeding in those early days.

I had the pleasure of presenting a webinar for Parents At Work last week on:

“The Pillars of Health: Creating Micro Moments for Whole Health.”

We spoke about something I see every day — people aren’t struggling because they don’t know what to do, but because life is full, interrupted, and demanding.
Instead of overhauling everything, we focused on small, consistent actions — the “micro moments” that shape energy, mood, sleep and overall health.

Things like:
· Getting a few minutes of morning light
· Starting meals with protein
· Taking a short walk after eating
· One slow breath to reset the nervous system
· Staying connected to the people around us

Simple, practical, and doable — even on the busiest days.
Thank you to everyone who joined and engaged so thoughtfully.
If there’s one takeaway, it’s this:
You don’t need more information — you need better inputs, repeated consistently.
And if you’re navigating ongoing fatigue, gut issues or feeling a bit out of balance, feel free to reach out — always happy to help. Sophie@sophietnutritionist.com.au
