🌿 Breakthrough for rare cancer patients?
Aussie biotech QBiotics has just released promising early results from their soft tissue sarcoma trial — and it’s turning heads.

They’re using a compound called tigilanol tiglate (EBC-46), derived from a rainforest plant, and injecting it directly into tumours. In Stage I of their Phase IIa trial, they saw an 80% objective response rate in the injected tumours. That’s a big deal in the world of rare cancers, where effective treatment options are often limited.

What makes this especially exciting is how the drug works — not just destroying tumour cells but also activating the immune system to clean up and potentially target remaining cancer cells.

Still early days but it’s a step forward and one worth watching.
