Our immunity is not just physical. It is emotional resilience. It is spiritual integrity.

It is the quiet knowing that no toxin, no lie, no shadow in the sky can erase our light—
as long as we stay connected to the truth within and the earth beneath our feet.

We are not powerless. We are protected—when we awaken.

While we often think of the immune system as purely physical (fighting off viruses and bacteria), many holistic traditions and emerging scientific perspectives suggest that humans have layers of immunity (physical, psychological, and spiritual) that work together to maintain our overall wellbeing.

1. Physical Immunity

This is our biological defense: white blood cells, antibodies, the gut microbiome. It responds to pathogens and toxins in our environment. A healthy immune system here depends on clean air, nourishing food, movement, and rest.

2. Mental/Emotional Immunity

This is our psychological resilience—our capacity to stay grounded and clear in the face of fear, manipulation, or overwhelm. It’s nourished by:

• Awareness and emotional regulation
• Healthy relationships
• Time in nature
• Critical thinking and intuition

It protects us from mind pollution, propaganda, fear narratives, or mental disconnection.

3. Spiritual Immunity

Often overlooked, this is our soul’s natural defence, our inner knowing, integrity, and connection to something greater (nature, God, life itself). Practices like mindfulness, prayer, solitude, and awe-inspiring experiences strengthen this layer. It protects against spiritual disconnection, despair, and existential numbness.

āø»

So yes, our natural immune system may be far more holistic than we’ve been taught.

It doesn’t just defend the body, it defends our wholeness.

A local news article talking about PFAS contamination again…

I’m not sure about each state of the US, but as far as I’m aware, the tolerance for PFAS & PFOS in ā€˜drinking water’ is zero (in the US), that’s why in the article it says Sydney’s levels are ā€˜higher’. That was left out.

None the less, I don’t drink tap water anywhere for various reasons, including this one! And nor should ANYONE. We should all be investing in high quality water filtration systems, or better yet, the government should be making that investment for us. Other governments do!

In saying that, PFAS in drinking water is a different kettle of fish than PFAS in swimming water I believe (depending on the concentration level). Our skin would provide a higher level of protection from absorption. Although the skin does readily absorb chemicals into the body, it also acts as a protective barrier to the bloodstream.

Either way, I live in Sans Souci and have young children and often swim in the Sans Souci beach and I’ve not heard a murmur of PFAS contamination until now. To find out there was warning signs placed in the area 2 years ago is quite surprising to me.

In summary, my stance on the matter is; ā€˜the people’ need to stop pointing fingers at governments or businesses until firstly looking in their own backyards and checking themselves.

This is a global issue which is about how we as human beings conduct ourselves. People need to start taking responsibility for the environment first, and then we can hold others to account.

It’s about what we do and how we move forward with this type of information which really matters.

'No swimming' signs have been quietly installed at the popular Sydney beach, but unsuspecting residents continue to get in the water.

20grams of protein before 10am.

During the night, your body churns through significant amounts of amino acids for cell repair and regeneration.

Because the body doesn’t store protein, unlike fat & carbohydrates, we need it regularly, but the morning is the most important time.

It’s not just for your muscles, we need protein for skin, hair, nails, the immune system, hormones, it’s crucial for a healthy, vital body.

ā˜€ļø Morning protein can set you up for better energy and satiety for the whole day.

The goal is at least 20 grams by 10am, which equates to:
- 3 large eggs,
- 85 grams of cooked chicken breast,
- 150 grams of tofu,
- 100 grams of lamb chops, or
- approximately 200 grams of a frittata made with eggs, cheese, and canned salmon.

What are your favorite quick protein breakfast ideas? Mine is chicken soup made from a roast chicken the night before. If that's not available, I'll quickly fry up leftover meat with whatever veggies I have in the fridge—e.g., leeks, mushrooms, and potatoes.

Do you ever have leftover meat for breakfast? If not, why not? If that much protein feels too heavy at 7am, you could just try waiting an hour or two. Breakfast at 9am is still breakfast.
