Due to a large recruitment drive, our team at iVirtus Consulting is urgently seeking to fill multiple vacancies in complex disability care. Currently we are recruiting for various locations around Sydney for our business partner who is an established, trusted and highly reputable NDIS support provider.

• Complex Care Support Workers
• Enrolled Nurses
To succeed in this role, you will meet all the essential criteria below:
In order to join this fast growing, dynamic, and passionate team that is truly invested in providing the best care to NDIS participants of all ages and abilities, thus ultimately optimising their quality of life and assisting in meeting goals and milestones, you will need the following as an essential;
• Driver’s License and access to own vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Current National Police Check
• Current Working with Children
• Manual Handling certification and clearances
• If you are an Enrolled Nurse or a Registered Nurse, you must be endorsed by AHPRA
Minimum Certification III in Disability/ Aged Care otherwise minimum Qualifications in Nursing
• Excellent written documentation and assessment skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 4yrs in a relative nursing or complex care role
The majority of the NDIS participants that our client supports, will always entail an element of domestic assistance, however the primary focus is on more COMPLEX DISABILITY HOME CARE.
Your expected duties will include but not be limited to,
• Ensure the continuity of complex care and participant support as specified by care plan
Committed to work as part of a team and within a family support system
• Ensure compliance of all company standards, regulatory requirements, and policies
• Complex care can include but is not limited to, Tracheostomy care, Peg Feeding, Bowel Care, Catheter Care, Manual Handling using hoists as well as other apparatus, managing and issuing medication
• Ongoing risk assessment and management to ensure the participant optimal care and safety as well as your own
• Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on an on-going basis all participant case notes
