Building Communication Skills, One Crazy Vehicle at a Time!
We kicked off December in Play N Chat Group with a bit of Christmas spirit…and a lot of teamwork. 🎄✨
In small groups, our little learners planned and built their own “crazy vehicles.” It looks playful (and it absolutely is!) — but underneath the cardboard and creativity, we’re targeting big social communication goals:
⭐️ listening to others’ ideas
🌟 sharing their own ideas within a small group of peers
⭐️ negotiating and compromising
⭐️ managing tricky moments with support
These projects give children a safe, supported way to practise working together and communicating confidently with peers — skills that make a real difference beyond the therapy room.
And just like our clients, our team works collaboratively too. This group is led by both an experienced and early-career speech pathologist, bringing deep clinical knowledge, fresh energy, and lots of encouragement.
