What is ADHD ? “What is ADHD?” is a question I’m frequently asked, and while it seems straightforward, the reality is far more complex. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects people in different ways depending on factors like gender, age, and individual circumstances - even within...

Ever heard someone say “That’s just how I am”?
Or “I can’t change - I’m wired this way”?

I spoke with Dominic from Synergistics Australia & NZ about how stories, labels, and self-awareness intersect - especially for people with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and other neurodivergent profiles.

We also dig into:
✅ What works (and what doesn’t) in supporting diverse brains
✅ Why empathy goes both ways in the workplace
✅ And how a beach day became an accidental metaphor for inclusion 🏖️

This is something I talk about often with clients, because we tend to think confidence means being fearless, calm, and in control all the time. But real confidence isn’t the absence of anxiety. It’s the ability to move forward even when anxiety shows up.

Think about it:
You can be nervous before a presentation - and still get up and deliver it.
You can feel self-doubt bubbling away - and still advocate for your needs.
You can be terrified of failing - and still try something new.

Confidence is a relationship with fear, not a lack of it.
It’s built on self-trust, not perfection.

So if you're anxious and still showing up? That is confidence.
You’re doing it already.
