A winter solstice burn 🔥

Blessed winter solstice/mid winter/Yule blessings. 💚♥️❄️♥️💚

For those of you here in the Southern Hemisphere and interested in the pagan path, we are celebrating the longest night of the year and the return of the light. 🌞

Here the days begin to get brighter and whilst the Goddess gives birth to the God at this time, it is a reminder that even after death there is rebirth.
♥️🌞♥️

The following may be useful if planning a winter solstice ritual.

Colours : red, green, white, silver, gold
Crystals : garnet, ruby, bloodstone clear quartz
Foods : fruit cake, ale, mulled wine, eggnog, roasted root veggies
Element : earth
Plants & essential oils : mint, rosemary, myrrh, pepper, orange, frankincense, cederwood
Symbols : holly, mistletoe, sun, light, pine cones

Activities for the winter solstice may include.

Building a Yule altar
Creating an earth based, hand crafted art piece (pine cones are great to use)
Gift giving
Burn a Yule log
Decorating a Yule tree
Create a winter feast
Watching the sun rise

As the winter solstice is a time of coming out of the darkness and into the light, it is a great time of reflection and journaling. 📔

The Story

Over the last year I have been engaging in some serious soul-searching, unpacking who I am and what I stood for amongst the chaos of the world was a process that brought about deep internal change. As I really embodied my daily practices, I recognized that the life I was living no longer served me. Soo I changed it. I would love support others to do the same, so here I am!

A little about me: Guardian of animals, Lover of the Sun, Activist, Pagan eclectic Witch, Vegan, eco-friendly tattooed lover of motorbike cruises!

An earth based practitioner who has a background in holistic counselling and complimentary therapies, neurolinguistics programming and hypnotherapy, reiki and crystal healing and earth based mindfulness among others. I use an eclectic approach to many modalities to provide a client centered focus. Oh and if you need Justice of the Peace services, I'm your girl!
