Let me preface this by saying I’m not saying alcohol is healthy. I’m absolutely not telling people to drink.

I’m not the type of person to crack open a bottle of wine on a Friday night. And drinking mid week is a hard boundary for me (unless I’m on holidays or it’s Christmas).

But I really do enjoy alcohol socially. Whether it’s a bottle of wine with Owen, cocktails with the girls or a glass of champagne for celebrating 🥂

I almost felt afraid to say that in the past because of my job. But now I realise I would actually be inauthentic if I denied it 🤷‍♀️

I like to call it duality 🫶

With the rise of ‘skinny’ being ‘in’ again - I’m encouraging healthy 💁‍♀️

You know when you look at someone and think they’re hair glosses, skin glows and they look fit 💃

I don’t mean skinny, or have visible abs - I mean they look like they can crush a watermelon with their thighs or they have veins popping from their shoulders 🤣

The women who are trying to do multiple pull ups, who care about fresh air as well as the gym and who know the importance of nourishing your body 🔥🥰

These are the women who need to be following 😍

Manage your God damn expectations 🙅‍♀️

As a woman - what you want to do and what’s realistic to your life are often totally different 🫠

This is a massive barrier to most women when it comes to their health and fitness journey. 👊

This one is going to be special 🫶

and I are hosting our first event together in Galway on 14th March. Timing wise - it’s special - March hosts international women’s day and Mother’s Day. Two amazing opportunities to celebrate the wonderful species we are ❤️ Now you have a third opportunity 🙏

The day runs from 12-3pm and the theme of the day is celebrating and connecting as women but also letting go and blooming into Spring 🥰

The day will incorporate journalling and intention setting, nutrition support and conscious connective breathwork 🥰

Imagine realising at 19 - that you are better than this 🫶

Imagine being mature enough to reach out for help instead of listening to influencers advice 👂

Imagine deciding to nip it in the bud instead of this vicious cycle stealing years or decades of your life 😫

Honestly, I wish I had changed my mentality sooner. It was my thirties before I decided to take action 💁‍♀️ And most of my clients are older than me.

✨Life Update

January was about hibernation. I trained, I embraced the darkness and the shorter days. I climbed Errigal for sunrise with snow on the peak 🥰

January finished with a bang 🤣 I like to call it duality 💁‍♀️🍸

This week I started a 6 Week Challenge with my clients and they’re already off to a flying start 🔥
✅ Sharing recipes
✅ Engaging in the community
✅ Being accountable to me
✅ Exercising more

Then, we hosted our friends and their little boy 👦 I love hosting and spending quality time with friends and family ❤️

It’s my birthday month 🎂

I’m not a big valentines lover (me and Owen celebrate our love every day we don’t need a specific date for that). I’m heading off with the girls for an excuse to celebrate Galentines instead (because I don’t always get to spend time with them).

If you’re going out for a meal next weekend with your other half - please don’t worry or panic about the calories in the food. You’re ALLOWED to enjoy a meal out - guilt free - no matter what your goals are 🙏

Remember, self love is the most important love you’ll ever experience. And your relationship with your food and body are a reflection of that 🫶
